Favorite Baby Names

My aunt has gone into labor this morning, May 18! It's sooo funny because my cousin gave birth last night!
(My aunt is from my mom's side and my cousin is from my dad's side).

My aunt has chosen the following names:
If it is a boy:
Aaron James

if it is a girl:
Nicholle Anne

Nicholle is pronounced like Nicole.

I pray and pray! My aunt is not good with labor. It took her 23 hours with her first, Emma!

For boys I like:
Wyatt Alexander
Luca William
Tristan Samuel
Jaden Michael
Logan James
Noah Charles
Caleb Edward

For girls I like:
Ashlynn Julie
Amelia (Mia) Grace
Mackenzie Elizabeth
Lilly May
Alyssa Dannielle
Abigail Sophia
Alexis Bianca
Megan Olivia

My favorite names currently:

Girls
Drew Adrian, Maria Rose, Lucy, Lola, Grace

Boys
Jack, Jake, Alex (the newest addition), and Kerr

I am not a fan of unique names, uniquely spelled names, names that weren't names 100 years ago. LOL So yes I am the old fashioned, classic type.

My favorite girls name by far is Julia (my daughter). She is always Julia, Jules, or J- NEVER Julie!!
I also love Paige, Emma, Grace.(If my son was a girl he would have been Emma Grace)
I veer from the classic by really liking the name Ashlyn.

For boys I love Jacob, Cole(sort of trendy now, but it was my grandma's maiden name), Caleb-I also like Jack..but Jack seems more like a nickname than a full name, and I didn't *love* Jackson or John as the "real" name, but I still really like the name Jack-just not for my son. LOL

Of course my son's name is Matthew for 3 reasons-Cole does not go with our last name at all, Jacob is my nephew's name, and when I said Caleb my husband looked at me like I had 3 heads. LOL
So my husband chose and Matthew it is, which is fine-I like all the variations-Matthew, Matt & Matty.
I also like Joseph and Christopher alot.

Ok well this is just a fun subject!!!:teeth:

Lets see I like unique names, I was named after my great grandfather whose name was Mace....when I was growing up you NEVER heard the name Maci (sounds like Macy), but now I hear it alot in younget kids. I liked that no one else had my name.

My kids names are Connor and Delaney...I LOVE irish names!!!!!

I didnt think they were that common when I chose them, but I hear Connor ALL the time and Delaney more and more...but that is ok...I guess!

I know zurg's wife enjoys these names as well as she ALSO has a Connor and a Delaney :p .

We are constantly debating on other names, for if/when we have another child...nothing for sure yet.

Fun thread!!
