Fav Disney character and Why?

I like my characters to have a bit of a mad and daft personalty (like me !!) so my fave characters are Goofy and Stitch

My favorite character is Donald Duck. We have some things in common: short temper, speech impediment (sp?), loves to fight, etc.

This is kinda reminds me of a "story"...

I met my DH on line...we were both on a dating website. But before I met him, almost every guy I would talk to, I'd ask one CRUCIAL question:

"Mickey or Bugs?"

I'm surprised I ended up with DH 'cause he said "Bugs"!!! :scared1:

Anyway, I LOVE Mickey...but I have to say my absolute favorites are Minnie ::MinnieMo (that's DH's pet name for me) and Goofy (we need a Goofy smilie!!) and that's my pet name for DH!! :rotfl:

I love lots of other characters too (my fave princess is Aurora) but hands down, it's got to be Minnie and Goofy!

I love reading the answers to this question. This is a tough decision and I truly didn't think I could pick a favorite. Almost all of the Disney characters evoke some treasured memory for me. Then I remembered my most recent trip to WDW. I had left Wishes early and was in front of the train station waiting for my family. I had a wonderful view of Mickey waving and saying good night. There was a little guy, maybe 2-3 years old and when he spotted Mickey he absolutely lit up. He toddled to the wrought iron fence and he looked from Mickey, to his parents, to me, with unabashed glee. He knew, that Mickey was waving to him, just him. Several hundred other people knew he was waving to just them, also. Yeah, I teared right up and I felt privileged that the little guy had included me in that special moment. Looking back over a 50 year history with Mickey I realized that during all my encounters with him, be it in person or via TV, he has always made me and everyone else feel special.
I gotta go with Mickey. :flower:  :flower:

Had a similar experience during Spectromagic. There was a little girl (probably no older than 5) sitting next to me with her family. When Cinderella passed by she started screaming, "Cinderella!" Obviously, Cinderella heard this and looked right at her and waved....and so did Prince Charming! She was so thrilled, couldn't help but smile :goodvibes

I just thought of another character that I really like and have never seen. Technically she's a villain... Maleficent! Does she ever make appearances that anyone knows of? :maleficen

From a movie...Tramp.

In the parks, I'm afraid I have to go with the mouse himself! When DD went into the park the first time, it was drizzling. I looked to the right and there was Mickey...all alone. Needless to say, we made a sharp right and DD and her cousins spent about 5 minutes with just them and Mickey. The unadultered joy in her eyes as she sprinted to Mickey was so wonderful. I turned to DH and said "worth every penny!"

Simba or any other character from the Lion King

When my husband and I were had been dating for a while he saw the movie trailer from the Lion King and told me we have to go see this movie. I realized then that he felt about me the same way that I felt about him. Needless to say our song is Can you feel the love tonight and our movie is the Lion King. We even had a Lion King wedding. This year we will be taking our daughter to DW for the first time.

Goofy is my favorite, he has been since I was 10 or 11. I'm not really sure how he came to be my favorite, I guess I just love his personality. He's not worried about what others think of him and he always gives his all.

FIGMENT...He caught my "imagination" when I went in 1986 at age 13....I was really into creativity and he SPARKED something in me...

Years later, my best friend and I had a bonding moment when she entered my childhood room for the first time. We only became friends in my 20's and she could not beleive I knew who Figment was when she saw my plush Figment. On every trip since, I bring her back everything I can find with Figment on it...He's still my fave. :wizard:

Donald Duck is my favorite. Has been since I was a kid. Trouble always seems to find him and it's funny the way he handles it. :rotfl:
