Well I am makeing another attemp to doing a PTR
In the past my PTR seem to fail so very Miserabley and go to
the Dis grave yard. I get started ok, but seem to lose juice
as it goes on,i do have issues with trying to stay focus so
that could be a problem LOL. Our next trip Is not going to be until
Oct of 2013 so Its a ways off!, so this will be a challange to say the least
but I love to talk Disney and specialy WDW, so to keep my Disney buzz
going I thought of the PTR. Now don't feel to sorry for us!,
we just got back from out DL only trip on the 8th of Oct. We
where down In Anahiem from the 2nd to the 8th. I will give you
a complete run down, and pic from our time In DL and a few
other parks we visited. Also the Hotels we decided on for our
upcomeing trip In Oct, and my fustration on where to stay at
WDW. Plus I am going to use this fourm to bounce ideas
(if any one Is brave enough to follow along) if to know one else
but my self, my poor DS he must get boored out his mind listeing
to my planning ideas. Actually kind of scares me if I answer my
own question and agree with my self LOL. Alao on many following
entries i will give you a profile of both my self and my DS. I will
give you a bit of Insight on how a Father and his DS has come to love
the mouse, and our yearly trips to his Home.
Ok i am closeing on the end Of my opening Page so Let me give you the
basic details.
Its me 45 Seattle,Wa Disney Dad that keeps Disney part of my life
and I am proud to say i do not hide that fact any longer.
My 19yo Disney son the one i have to thank for my love of Disney.
Really he Is the greatest son a Dad can ever have, i am so proud
of him. I also would like to mention my DS Mom, she swears she
will never set foot In any Disney park. Its not what you think
its not that she does notlike Disney, she does, its just that she
just could not see her self fighting those crowds, does not like rides
and everything what you do at Disney.

Ok Dates, right now its going to be a total of 6 days at WDW, 3 days
at DL and 3 days at US. So from the 9th of Oct to the 22nd of
Oct. Ok thats It for tonight, not a bad start. See you real soon!

I'll be "brave" enough to sit ringside for this ride. :thumbsup2

I think I'll be at WDW from 2 - 8 Oct 2013 so I'll just miss your trip. But it will be fun counting down!

Thanks for chiming In, LOL Really I am glad If any one pops In and throws there 3 cents in, If not that's OK to, there Is so many PTR, and really good ones to, but I will use it as a kind of modern day diary, or Blog for that matter. Really have fun with It.
Tomorrow I am going to start to up load my pic from our latest trip to DL. Later to night I am going to give a Bio of my self and my DS with our love of Disney, i will also try to post a Pic of my self, my DS, well that a different story LOL he Is kind of, no Is camera shy!:happytv:

I'm in:cheer2: I don't post very often but this trip sounds very intriguing.
I'm a lifelong (and by lifelong I mean since Disneyland opened) DLR person who's also been to WDW so I'm interested to see how this progresses and read your thoughts after you go!
Should be a fun time, F&W and the MNSSHP when you go to WDW.
Hope your UO trip part includes WWoHP....sensational!!!

Now don't fall down on the report job:rotfl:

By the way, talking to yourself, planning and answering your own questions? Perfectly normal, I even argue with myself.:lmao:

Perfectly normal to me. :thumbsup2

No dought talking to myself keeps my sanity!!. But talking to all my friends here on Dis, believe it or not helps me. My plans and feed back keeps my hopes and dreams going. Life Is so tough some times, you go through life day in day out and it seems all you have is the next day. Disney gives me my dreams to dream about that night and keeps me cooking through the day. I know It sounds lame, but when i am down, i just start think of my plans and the times i have at Disney with my DS, and its like a light in the dark. I know some tough guy right LOL:rotfl2: I don't care anymore what people say, that its childish, that your son will grow out of it, well he is 19 not yet, and we have this bond so tight and big part of that Is the Mouse.

Ok I am going to start downloading pic from this last trip to DL. Oct the 2nd we got to LA and was the day for MNSSHP. We did not want to waste one of our four days so we decided on going to Hollywood for the first part of the day. I have to say I was pretty disipointed with the whole experience, not that there was anyone thing, just i thought it was going to be better I guess. So let me try getting some of these pic on. The first pic are from Madame Tussaud's. wax Museum.

The one of Clint Eastwood, look pretty cool, alot of them look like wax feguries. They kept of stressing that we could do what ever we wanted with the feguries??, i touch one but that was It. Seem to gross to touch.

It cost 20.00 a piece to get In and that was with a coupon, its normal 25.00 a piece. My opinion not worth it. But you get there and in the moment it draws out the money LOL

So I know this Is not how normal PTR go:confused3, so please bare with me. I will go back and fourth with thoughts and planning for our up coming trip. I also wanted to go through our most recent trip to DL and photos. I like to reflect on our past trips to. It kind of shows what my relation ship with my DS and how it has grown over the years with the help Of Disney:cool1: I have a lot of time before we go, so it acts as good filler to....Just a heads up!:thumbsup2

well this Is from everyone's favorite theater!

Well let me tell you what our plans are for. 2013 Is going to be a two trip year It looks like. Around and during the 4th of July we are going to do a three night 4 day trip to DL, staying at the DLH, yep back to DL before WDW. Oct!, back to WDW for MNSSHP:cool1::cool1:. We did not do WDW this year:sad1: so no MNSSHP at WDW. Where planning 6 nights at POP or POR, i will go more into this decision its like two children pulling at one hart!. Well where looking at Oct the 9th to bout the 19th. I will have a hard date here In a couple of weeks when i put my deposit down. In there we will be staying 3 nights at the hard rock. Right now I do not know If I want to do a split stay with the 3 nights in the middle, or the three nights at the Hard Rock at the end, i so like the ME bus ride to and from the resort. Its the perfect start and ending to a vacation. Thrown in there we will be doing 2 MNSSHP and one HHN at US. I will give you my feed back from the DL version of MNSSHP, spoiler alert, its so way WDW bias:confused3. DL version just did not have the spark, but i will save it for another day. OK have to stop, i need to download more pictures,,,Oh and we will have lots of time for Harry!:wave2:

That could be me as well today. Tough day in the office and rough dinner with the extended family.

But I'm finally home with my DH and DS and on the Dis.

And I liked the picture of you.

Sounds great!

I like the thought of 3 nights at Hard Rock in the middle. Like the sandwich filler between the Disney stays.

I'm unexpectedly heading to California in about 13 days (but who's counting) and will have 1 day at DLR to check out CarsLand before heading towards NorCal. Will miss the Halloween timeframe at DLR by 3 days. I'm guessing that most of the decorations will be down by the time I get there. Oh well....

No i think they will be up. I believe the party go's into the first few days IN Nov

Great i glad you all like the pictures, Ya I have some more pictures to down load later tonight. The trip was really great with my DS by the way his name Is Jason, we left on the Morning of the 2nd of Oct, it was a 6am flight so we took the shuttle express(its a airport shuttle, share van). It was funny the van ride to the airpot i started to get motion sickness, not that i get it often, just seem in rides like star tours, The driver was not very good, he was paying more attention to his gps then the road and seem to doze off, kind of scary really but it was 3am, so maybe he was a little tired. Well we got to the airport,,safely check in went really well!, other then my golf bag sitting on the over size belt, waiting for the attendant to come on shift to take it down, i must of stay there for a half a hour waiting before my DS got tired and wanted to smoke before we got on our flight, so i left reluctantly i am kind of paranoid about my golf clubs. Ya my DS smokes, its a habit i know so please no bad mouth about my DS, i am also overly protective to:rotfl: he Is the greatest kid, he's also the best thing ever in my life hands down. In my eyes he walks on water. Anyways sorry for the side track, Have to go, me and my DS we have a puge(dog) so time for his walk ok more later

So I have to start up with the airport, Sea tac airport for us here In Seattle. Since I was a kid, and I am still a bit of a kid, i have always love going to the airport:confused3,maybe its the planes, maybe its the gate way to adventures but i have always love going to the airport. So i actually always plan a extra hour when going on our trips just so i can take in the whole experience. Wow with all my back tracking it just might take me to Oct to get to talking about my trip:rotfl2:. OK so we got onto the plane, this went smoother then getting on the plane coming back in LA. You remember when they serve meals on the plane??:coffee: just thinking out loud, i remember the first time i took my DS to DL, Alaska airlines serve breakfast to everyone, a actual meal. So we get Into LAX at about 8:30,right about on time. The hike to get your luggage!, you have to go through those tunnels, why do they not have those walking escalators? every other airports seem to have them. It made the walk to the luggage pick up area a long one. Well we got our luggage and hop on the bus to pick up our rental car at Alamo. They said you have to call them after you pick up the luggage to arrange pick to the Alamo rental car location. There is no rental car desks at LAX, none what so ever. LOL:rotfl2: I must of have been the only one trying to call, everyone else when straight to the islands for the car rental buses. Well i got some one but it seem that even the person on the phone was surprised, because he was kind of clueless for first few minutes, plus i think he was not from the local office because he asked me what airport i was at. Well half way into the call the Alamo bus came so i had to hang up on him, because he just would not stop talking about options i could get on the car:hyper:, and ran out there and met my DS to get on the Bus. It took about 15min to get to the Alamo lot the turn signal was broke and only stay green to turn for about 10 seconds, and there was long back up. We got to the lot,got our paper work for the car and then they said go pick your car!, this was such a bad option. I reserved a compact, and you can chose any car in the parking lot, bad idea, very bad!. We had to go through all the selections of the cars, and of course all the expensive cars!, my DS wanted a convertible mustang, oh no compact keep your eyes on the goal. Ok rental went good off to Hollywood

I want to start by saying Google maps, there distant to your destination super way off, witch is funny on the way home, driving to the airport, we where passed by a car marking GPS thing ma bob's on top of there car. The drictions where mostly correct, but the distant s to your destination where almost all way way off!.
So we got to Hollywood, of course i was tourist struck, wow look at that!, did you see that, i seen that on this show!, ya i was a goof:cool1:. My DS, ya, ya ,ya!!:confused3 really no biggie. That was really the high light of my Hollywood experience, at least for me. We got to the center that in gulfs the main square where the theater is and the hands in the side walk. The parking garage was a good deal, 2.00 for two hours with a one of the bushiness comp your ticket. This Building also had a mall, theater(a actual movie theater) restaurants galore. The whole hand print side walk was neat, but the consent people dressed up in costumes and everyone trying to convince you to come to there place to eat or drink go a little tiring, i mean they where everywhere. For the kids i could see, but come on, asking a grown adult if you want to take a picture with them??. It was fun for a couple of hours, window shop, went to the wax museum(over rated) and walk away saying we seen Hollywood. I imagine there was a time when this place was real special. We went back to the car and headed for our Hotel in Buenia Park
