FastPasses+ & 14 day tickets

So... Question

We arrive on 20th October to AKL so I can do my 7 days worth of FastPass in advance whilst we are at AK - we then go and cruise for 4 days - am I still able to book FastPasses for the 3 days after our cruise if we do not stay on site?

I am not sure if the FP+ is linked to your ticket validity period with an onsite booking required to access the feature or if I your booking window is only open for the days which coincide with a resort stay

Any ideas - I looked at the strategy board but there is such anger there it was hard to find an answer!

Who knows by October

Technically you should only be able to pre-book for resort stay days at the moment but i think you can pre-book length of ticket. However things change and October is a long way off in this rollout - i would check in the summer

Thanks Elsie - it does all seem a bit up in the air at the moment, hopefully they will have things more settled by then.

I have read that currently there is a tiered system, whereby you can chose only one headline attraction e.g. Test Track or Soarin - I hope this is gone!

Also I understand that only guests with a resort reservation will be able to advance book FastPass+ others offsite guests will need to make theirs on the day at a the front of the park

I also found some really good strategies in relation to park hopping (if you are a fan like us) that you simply go to one park for Rope drop, ride what you can and then head to another park later and use your pre-booked FastPass+

Would be interesting to hear other UK Diser's experience of this without the associated drama of whether it is not fair to offsite guests and general upset that has to be ploughed through on the strategies board.
