FastPass

The last time we visited WDW they didn't have FastPass. I understand the concept of queing the attractions but am trying to figure out my strategy for doing so. Does anyone have any tips?

Can you que more than one attraction at a time? What's the usual wait time? We will be visiting WDW next March during spring break so I expect long lines.

People have reported various wait times on their FP's. There will be times when you can possibly have multiple FP's in your possession. This will really depend on the return time's these attractions. It helps decrease the wait time for the major attractions. I don't use FP a lot because we tend to go when there aren't large crowds and stand-by is usually only 10-15, so we just wait.

However, it is wonderful when there are a lot of crowds. In the morning at opening at MGM, you can get a FP for TOT then ride RNRRC standby. Sometimes you can then go do TOT-- which might already have a 30 minute wait. This is the one thing we do almost every trip. Since these 2 attractions build lines fast. As well as TT and MS at Epcot.

Here's how it works.

You slide your admission ticket into the Fastpass kiosk, and a nifty little piece of paper pops out. It has a one hour time frame for you to come back to ride the ride with little to no wait.

Here's the caveat. That's the ONLY fastpass you can hold until:

1.) Your time frame comes around.

OR

2.) 2 hours AFTER you got your first pass

Whichever of those two options comes first is when you can get a new fastpass.

If it still seems too confusing - don't worry. Disney took the guesswork out of it, and they now print on the fastpass itself when you can get your next fastpass.

Also be aware that when there's few crowds, somtimes they don't even open the Fastpass kiosk.
