Hi All ~ What is your fastest/best strategy using FP at all the parks! S

My kids love the Kilamanjaro Safari ride. I rush ahead when the park opens (well as fast as the rope blockers let you) and get fast passes for the Safari. When dh and the kids get to the ride entrance we join up and ride. By the time we are off the ride, we go back on with our fastpasses.

This, of course, means you are riding the same ride back-to-back, but there is truly so much to see why not do it twice!?! :)

Within 40 minutes of park opening we are on the ride twice and can head over to another of our favorite attractions. :)

My best advice would be to always be holding a Fast Pass. Look at the time at which you can get another...for us it was 5 minutes after the FP return time. For example, if you get a FP at 9:30 am that has a return time of 11-12, it would say that we could get our next FP at 11:05. If you get a FP at 11:05, then go ride the ride where you had the original FP, you can have a line free day. Look at the various lists of "anytime" rides (e.g. Tiki Room and Hall of the Presidents at MK). You can fill your "wait times" with those.

I do the same as missypie. I always get a new FP just before using an old one. That way I'm never really without one and don't have to wait in lines. I did notice that the time you could get a new FP was much earlier than normal at AK on Monday. I was holding 3 FPs at one time.

The past two posters are absolutely right! Get a FP with the quickest return time, this way you don't have to backtrack so much. And remember to do the anytime rides AFTER you get the fastpass. It is almost more important to recognize those rides then the FP rides. Because the anytime rides is what is going to make your day more enjoyable. Frontierland/Adventureland you have Tom Sawyer Island, POTC, Tiki Room, Country Bear Jamboree. Also, if you get a FP for BTMRR/SplashMtn, then go ahead and get over to Jungle Cruise if you are there when MK opens. At fantasyland, IASW has a relatively short line compared to the other rides there, and also, Haunted Mansion and Hall of Presidents are very close. There isn't much there that is quick line, except for Philarmagic and that will be a 20 minute wait at best (one of my most favorite attractions). Tomorrowland has TTA, Carousel of Progress, Timekeeper, and Toontown Fair is nearby. So make sure you always have a fastpass, and work the anytime rides and you should have a good time.

One thing that really worked great, especially at MGM, is that my youngest dd-4 and I had no interest in riding the rides there. My DH and our older dd-8 would get 2 fastpasses at one ride and 2 more at another. Just be careful that you have enough time to ride both rides.

You can also use the FP after the return time as well. Thus grab 2-3 FP before noon(9:00, 10:00, 11:30) while riding other things, then when its crowded in the afternoon, use those FP's.
