Neither am I anything close to "upset" about the new normal. Merely disappointed, and I'll adjust. Where I get upset is being accused of being immoral because I did something that multiple CMs told me was perfectly fine. I'm not saying you've called me this, but countless posters on this thread alone clearly have called me and my kind this.
That I take offense to, because I'm pretty proud of being an upstanding citizen.
True. But then lots of people have clearly heard from CMs saying "hey, this is okay" with regard to returning later than their FP window. Even those that haven't and are astute can figure it out by reading the language on the FP, front and back. That others didn't isn't my problem. And that others didn't and stick their collective heads in the sand for the sake of a heightened sense of self-morality also isn't my problem.
Au contraire, there
are return times for the stores. They are posted clearly and are called park hours. Why print the park closing time if they aren't going to enforce it? That some people don't take advantage of the extra operating minutes again, wait for it...isn't my problem. I once was in a store just before the park closed happily shopping when I saw some people come in after park close, select their items, and then go on ahead of me and checkout. That didn't seem fair to me. How is this different than late FP use, other than the obvious financial benefit Disney? I mean, I was in the store on time and they weren't--why should they be allowed to shop? I'd be doubly angry if they picked up the last item on the shelf before I got to it, too.

Is this not a valid comparison? Is my argument here petty and ham-handed?
