Fast breafast at deluxe?

2 years ago we stayed at POR-French Side (ooo-la-la!) and we made good use of the cafeteria breakfast service. Packed it up to go and ate it in the rooms while we dooded up for the day. This time we're planning on staying in a deluxe. Do they have cafeteria breakfast type options, or is it strictly sit down in their restaurants?

I stayed at AKL in Dec. and would get up early and go down to Mara for bagels, cereal, milk, croissants, donuts, danish, etc. while my family slept. I would bring my refillable mugs to fill with fruit punch, too. They have carry-out containers for omelettes, french toast, etc. I would put it all on a cafeteria tray and go back to the room. Then everyone could eat while others were showering and getting dressed. I spent about $10/ day on breakfast. What resort are you staying at? Welcome to the Dis!

At the AKL there is a cafeteria like restaurant, the Mara. You can get it to take to the room or for poolside dining. Have a great time!

I find that as long as there is a BUFFET breakfast, I can get a
really great breakfast, which will fill me up until WAY past lunch,
and still not take up too much time. I am not usually hungry until
dinnertime.

Thanks for the help. My sister is voting for AKL. I am rooting for WL this time. We're brining my 73 year old mom who will need a wheelchair. It will be her first time to Disney. She's still a kid at heart!

The WL has The Roaring Forks which is perfect for what you're looking for. It's a cafeteria style restaurant. So you'll have no problem getting b'fast to take back to the room.

Bless you, that's exactly the answer I was hoping for!!!! I hate to waste time eating in the morning when there are all those rides and characters waiting.
