We leave tomorrow to start our drive to Disney! I love farmers markets and produce stands and we will be staying in a condo at Old Key West with a kitchen so I was just wondering if there's anywhere to get good produce in the Orlando area? Thanks for any help!

hi
there is a farmers market at lake eola nr downtown orlando on sundays, it is in the thornton park area and quite safe.

Thanks! I will ask the concierge for directions!

There is also a Farmers Market on Sundays in Celebration on Market Street. It's easy to get to from WDW - just take World Drive all the way to the end, and then follow the signs to Market Street.

Celebration is going to be a lot closer and easier to get to than Lake Eola, especially for someone who doesn't know their way around.

We've been to Celebration before just to look around, so we know where it is. I'll check with the concierge before we leave just to make sure we know where we're going, but I think we'll definitely check that one out. Thanks!

I'm glad you had no problem navigating the area. Some people aren't as secure in their sense of direction and don't like driving, particularly in an urban area, where they are not familiar with their surroundings.

Frankly I live here and still have a difficult time with some parts of the greater Orlando area.

I know this won't help the OP since she left on vaca today, but I saw this link in another thread a while ago u pick fruit I thought it would be a great thing for us to do as a we're breaking from the parks day. It's closed June-Sept, but for those of us going in fall or winter It looks like it could be something neat.
