Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM. If no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, perhaps someone can start that right in this thread.

Chuck and I also live in TN.. Also have our anniversary in May (22) but have been married for 32 years !

Would like to participate in the FE... This will be our 4th cruise, all Disney Wonder (2 Alaska and 1 down the CA coast)

My parents will also be on the cruise (but not participating in the FE) as will be a friend (will have to check with him to see about FE)

Will have to go find my room number and fill that in later...

So may book this cruise.....did this same cruise past July.....My BFF is finally doing a cruise on Disney after all these years of trying to get them to go....so how can I pass up not going right

It would just be me and my son(age 18) we have cruise together before without my other son and DH.....he is in college so he would miss his classes for that week...can make his classes so we work around it so he does not miss to many classes.....he will only be doing his General Ed classes so he will be fine...my other son no way can miss any because he takes 4 or 5 classes...Michael takes only 2 classes

So if you have any questions about this cruise ask away since I have done it before

We just booked this cruise! It's not 100% a sure thing as we have to wait to find out our fall break dates, but we made our best guess based on past dates.

We normally do WDW during fall break for MNSSHP/F&W, but we decided we would skip WDW this fall in favor of doing our first cruise on the Fantasy! This will be our 3rd Disney cruise overall (we previously did a 5-night on the Wonder in 2010 and a 3-night on the Dream in 2013.) Just me and DW, no kids. Don't know if we will do the FE thing this time, we will have to see.

Fingers crossed that everything works out and we'll be sailing the high seas with you all come October 3rd.

Puling the trigger and booking this cruise tomorrow...

This is our 5th cruise, 1st time on the Fantasy... Can't wait to see her, we LOVE the Dream, so I am sure we will love her sister too..

As of right now, I will be traveling with my hubby and my daughter (4).. Trying to convince brother in-law and in-laws to come with us..

We would like to be part of FE - have done it the past 2 cruises and my daughter loves coming back to the room to find all the pixie dust!!

Can't wait to start planning....

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since those who were organizing the FE for this cruise here on the DIS have chosen not to do that any longer, please feel free to start the FE right in this thread.

There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now (and still are) right here on the DIS. If anyone is interested in doing this, feel free to contact me for some suggestions.

if anyone is interested the DISboards have a great way to save some cash...if you book through them or transfer your Ressie to them they have an awesome OBC (On Board Credit) through Dreams unlimited I do it all the time.....just go to the top and click on Disney cruise line....and look for it....

Hi BzyMommee welcome no need to apologize for your posts ...post away the more posts the merrier where are you from? Im from San Diego and lots of other cruises on this cruise are from TN....I think DCL put out a special requests for TN ...lol....

We are a family of 4 but it is just my 18 Y.O son and I cruising this time around....we were all on this cruise in July..or was it June??? anyway...we are doing it again because after 15 years finally my BFF is going on....could not pass up not cruising with her

One of my FAV places is the Cayman Islands....I love it there since this is your first cruise feel free to ask 150 questions...you can never ask to many questions when it comes to a DC and you can never post to many posts as well
