OMG the massive pack has begun, laying it all out and then I have to figure shoes, then we will begin to remove! But hey good news our Duffy is already packed in a secure location! I seriously hope I am over packing so next time I can chill a little more....when is the first wine tasting?????

Wow my DH didn't wait until the very last minute - to purchase clothes! He actually went out on his own tonight while me and DD where at swimming lessons and bought TWO new suits! I was only hoping for one and a sport coat!

still not what to do about tux shoes for DS...we're borrowing a tux from a friend that fits him pretty well. But, his foot is considerably bigger than my friends' sons. I don't want to spend a fortune for shoes he's only going to wear a couple times. I've trolled the thrift stores, and all the shoes that will work for him are either too big or too small <grrr>
Can't seem to find any friends who have paws as big as DS to borrow either.
I know I can rent them, but trying other options first.

BTW - It does not look like the ship will be full for this sailing. I checked this morning and even 9 days out there appears to be plenty of availability in nearly every category, with the exception of Concierge.

Try JC Penny's. The tux shoes aren't in the shoe department but are in the men's department near the tuxes. They were in boxes hanging near the tux shirts. There are $60 but we got them on sale @50% off. So they were $30 plus we had a free $10 coupon so we got them for $20! My DH might not pack them though as he does not want to pack two types of black dress shoes or he may wear the the tux shoes with his normal suit.

I tired to figure out how to post a poll on here but my understanding was that I would have to make a whole new thread. So just going by the poll in the Facebook group...

Lets have a meet the first sea day at 10:30am up near Flo's Cafe. No exclusions! Bring your families, bears & friends! Since there is no longer a character breakfast being offered this will be a great time to get together before every1 goes off to different activities.

Hope to see every1 there!

Sounds good. I don't have facebook so I have not been able to see what's going on there. I tried joining through my husbands company but never got accepted.

Shoes...gonna rent the boy some shoes through cruise line formal wear-they're only $12 to rent...that's a deal!

SHIRTS...I'll send out PM to those who ordered them as well, but I'm going to have them with me at sail away. I will be on deck 12 starboard overlooking the pool/sailaway party. I will be wearing my shirt, so people should be able to find me. I will most likely also have a fruity beverage in my hand
I will go there immediately following the life boat drill, and will remain there until the boat moves.
For those that do not make it there, I will try to go to the meet by Flo's cafe. If I still don't catch up with you, I'll leave your shirts in a bag by your door.

Passing on an idea. When I delivered my FE gift last cruise it made sense to do it by deck. It took almost an hour on the wonder.. I read on another thread that it is quicker to deliver by area - fore, mid and aft. I printed out deck plans and marked all of our rooms and it does look like it will be faster to do it this way. I hope! You may want to at least look at the deck plans because some rooms aren't where you think they would be - 10045, 7567, 8643 are tucked in side hallways.

Look forward to seeing everyone! We may have to miss Flo's as we are trying to get Palo brunch at that time. We'll just have to see???

We actually leave in two more days in order to spend a little time at WDW for our first visit!

Welcome to our cruise! Thanks for signing up on our cruiser list! I edited your listing from "Irene" to your Dis user name, and added Irene to your "cruisers" because you only listed the triplets. You did not give your husband's name but if you post it here I will add it.

Unfortunately, the FE list has closed (as was noted on the cruiser sign-up form and web page), so I had to change you to a "No" for the FE and move you up the list to the "No" section.

Others here can explain the FE better, as I have never participated, but it is not a game. It is a gift exchange among those signed up. They hang a pocketed "fish extender" from the "fish" at their door, and those participating go around and put little gifts in it, and they do the same. The sign-up deadline was March 31 in order to allow everyone to prepare. Unless an exception is made, you missed out. Sorry.

My husband is Fred, my kids are Maria, Daniel and Garrett,, they are so excited as this is our first cruise and they look forward to making lots of friends,,thanks for all the information you have posted,, has helped me alot
