Fantasy Springs is opening June 6th 2024

Reporting live from the MC happy entry line at ticketing! MUCH quieter this morning. Regular line only looked half full too. Arrived to happy entry 7:15. Line looked a bit shorter than yesterday (maybe one full line length and another half line going opposite direction vs over two line lengths before 7 yesterday). There are two single file lines, I chose the right line both days.

Security seemed to start just after 7:15. Only took me 20 minutes to get through security today. If you’re in the right line, it splits into two lines just before the scanners. Go left, it’s faster since the scanner is closer to the split (made that mistake yesterday).

In line for tickets at 7:36. A lot less people. Lines were probably 20-30 deep after security. People were arriving to happy entry later today as the line definitely grew behind me whereas yesterday I felt like a straggler lol. Like I said before, they have so many ticket scanning lines that even if you feel far back in the happy entry line it only puts you a few more people back in the ticket scanning line. As I type at 7:47 I’d say I’m in the middle of my line currently.

I’ll update on how trying to get passes goes! I’m thinking about getting an evening DPA (will try for frozen) so I can see the land at night again without having to camp out all day. Then I want an Arendale mobile order to see it. Not sure if I’ll bother with standby. Honestly I rode everything enough but since I’m here and the FOMO is strong I’ll try for passes! I paid a lot for happy entry after all!

Coming down stairs for happy entry:

Line ahead of me at gate. Very short! Picked shade today lol. Left side is a bit shorter since you come in on the right.

Thanks for the report @Disneyhanna! Hope you are having fun at Disney Sea today. It’s such an amazing park even without Fantasy Springs!
Enjoying short waits! Did standby for TSM, Journey, and ToT all less than 30 minutes. It’s been beautiful weather the past few days and nice having a break from rain after the wet start of my trip lol.

I was able to stack a DPA for frozen and standby for Rapunzel and PP tonight. Also got all 3 mobile orders. Based on how fast things went I think a non happy entry people could have done everything quite early today, I just had to be a bit crafty to line everything up for the evening. Standby lines look longer today for FS

It's crazy how drastically FS has reduced wait times elsewhere in the park since just last week.

It was crazy! I don’t think anything outside FS exceeded an hour. Frozen standby did get up to 70 not sure if anything went higher than that. DPA were available all day long outside FS and I did see Peter Pan pop up around 5PM again. Standby were readily available for FS until lunch time and then they did pop up as cancellations later in the day.

I rode Frozen in the evening with DPA and minimal wait despite a long standby line. Did standby for Peter Pan and Rapunzel and the wait times were very accurate. Not many people are using the priority lane so they basically let everyone in from that lane before letting standby through. Standby is constantly moving since so few people come through the priority lane. Makes me think the package sales were a smaller % of total rooms than I would have though. And they obviously were severely limiting DPA compared to previews.

The increase in standby passes on day 2 was huge. The wait times in the evening were more like 30-60 minutes and looked quite long. Rapunzel got super long near sunset, literally reaching the exit of FS! Probably more due to a backup at the scanning than line length since it’s pretty annoying to pull up QR codes in the app IMG_7684.jpeg

I think they can push the standby lines even more as they had plenty of empty queue space and midday the waits were closer to half an hour. There are a ton of people obviously just waiting around in FS for their times or for more passes, so the rest of the park was relatively empty.

I was confused about re entry. I don’t try but from my ticket it seemed like I could possible reenter despite the FAQ saying you can’t without a passport. They were not warning people as they exited so I think it could be possible to re enter if your ticket looks like mine with multiple windows from multiple passes.IMG_7685.jpeg

Emporio did not have standby anymore when I passed by during Believe, you could just go in. Not sure if that happens every day.

They are doing a good job managing mobile order later in the day. The order area always looks empty but the tables are almost all full so I can see why they can’t just open up to everyone. Honestly that’s a big people eater right now, since each restaurant has hundreds of people.

Peter Pan standby queue is pretty but not much to see. Rapunzel standby queue is cute and has some fun props but nothing I’d choose to wait in over priority. Never saw Frozen standby and that one definitely got the longest.

Can confirm beverage tickets will get you in the door without mobile order. They will make each person show theirs. For showing mobile orders they make you select I’m here, check the party number on the screen, and will scroll the screen to make sure it’s not a screenshot I imagine. Serious stuff! Wristbands on day 2 were a different color than day 1. I also saw like no wristbands so again seems like there are so few people with packages.

One last note on luggage, the partnership with hotels like Hilton and Sheraton has definitely ended. On the TV at DLH/MC there’s a QR code with a link for baggage orders. The only options for transfers to hotels are now the official Disney hotels. So on checkout day I just selected the option to hold my luggage at the MiraCosta and left them in my room. I stopped by bell services to make sure leaving them there was fine. Also note when the form asks for pickup time, they mean pickup from your room not when you are picking up your bags LOL. I did that part wrong and they called my room immediately lol.

After my park day I went back to MC and got my bags from bell services. They put them on a cart and wheeled them to the entrance and the bellhops loaded them into my taxi. I used Go Taxi which was fabulous. It was $12USD to go to the Hilton Tokyo Bay 6-7 minute drive. At the Hilton their staff immediately loaded my bags onto a cart and whisked them away and gave me a ticket to give to check in. So when I went to my room they delivered my luggage in like 5-10 minutes. I thought it was going to be a nightmare but it wasn’t too bad. I had 4 bags so it was way too much to try to deal with myself. In Go Taxi you can select a vehicle with sliding doors and it doesn’t cost any more, I recommend that. The vehicle still wasn’t that big so more than two people I’d split up into multiple vehicles if you have lots of bags. The trunk was full with my two check bags and carry on and underseat bag.

That sounds fantastic! Thanks for your detailed reports! I’m hopeful next week will be more like your second day as we are without a package!

Okay, I know this was discussed many pages ago but I'm going to ask again. Has anyone been successful with linking another person to your app so that they can see the Vacation package info? I've been trying to add my sister to my account without any success. I would even okay with making a profile for her on my app but I can't figure that out either.

The app explains a way to do it but it seems like from their wording you can't make a group unless you have park tickets?

I invited my son and husband with just a hotel room only and VP. They both have Disney accounts. Go to the Home Screen of the app. There should be the first date of your stay. Cluck the “+” and invite them. Do it via airdrop or copy. Some of the other options, like text, send a link to download the app,

Chris at TDR Explorer went in as a standby guest today to get a sense of how it would work:

- Was able to get standby pass for Frozen
- Did not grab any DPA but they were available at the time, gone at 8:37
- Refreshed app at 11 and got earlier standby for Pan
- Eventually was able to get standby for all four attractions by keeping an eye on the app
- DPA also made available throughout the day, had to be quick to get them

So… good news? Especially for first Saturday it’s fully open. I guess my remaining question is are you allowed out and in if you have passes spread out throughout the day? The website seemed to indicate no but that doesn’t seem feasible at all.

Has he grab for single or larger party. I wonder if larger parties will be able to do so effectively

We tried that multiple times and it doesn't work, so that's why I posted that question. We can't get this to work at all and it's frustrating.

Nevermind, we got it to work somehow. No clue how but sending the invite link for the 7th time finally worked.

Firstly I'd like to thank you for taking time out of your vacation to share this info with us; super helpful!

As for the luggage situation, this is disappointing and a little annoying but I would rather know now than during my trip. I'm arriving to Hilton from Kyoto so it looks like I might use that Go Taxi service you mentioned to move my luggage over to the Fantasy Springs hotel and then on the day I move back over to Hilton, I'll store my luggage at the Fantasy Springs hotel and then pick it up after my park day.

Yes I’m glad I found out ahead of time or I would have panicked! Hilton to Fantasy Springs should be ridiculously easy. They’re basically next to each other, if I had just a carry on I would walk. At least it should only add maybe 15 minutes to your day, it’s a bummer they ended it.

I officially made it home, my FS journey is complete! I started going through photos and deleting stuff 11 hour flight without WiFi and I didn’t even watch any TV, just went through photos the entire time, phew. It was not without drama, we hit rough turbulence early on (the butt flying out of seat after a rollercoaster drop but constant for over 20 minutes) and people were screaming and having panic attacks and throwing up everywhere. I think more than half the plane did judging by the lack of barf bags I saw as I got off. The person next to me, behind me, and in front of me all did. Somehow I made it through it but the FAs couldn’t get out of their seats to help for a while so it was not a fun time. Then someone had a medical emergency as a result and they luckily found a doctor on board. Glad to be off that plane and home! Excited to start my TR and gather my overall thoughts once I recover from the last two weeks lol

Was this on Twitter or elsewhere?

It would be good to get some indication of what the wait times are with the free Standby Passes.

The wait times in the app are the standby wait times, they were pretty accurate in my experience. They ranged from 15 min to 70 min for most of Day 2 when I was there. Rapunzel got longer in the evening as did Frozen. Frozen was usually longest. Peter Pan rarely exceeded 30 min. 10-15 was common in the first half of the day and it seems to build. They also seemed to drop more passes on day 2 as they realized they could hold more capacity.
