Fantasy Server - Sheldon

Hi All! Has anyone had Sheldon from India as their server on the Fantasy? He was the absolute best server we have ever had and am wondering if he was still with Disney after the covid mess. Below is a picture of him from the last time we saw him on the Fantasy !!

Do you know Sheldon’s last name?? I work for Disney and I have a place I can look but there are 10 Sheldon’s with 3 being servers… 2 are on the Fantasy and 1 on the Wish

We are cruising on the fantasy in April and we asked for Sheldon- well done with Sheldon is how get gets you to remember his name - he is wonderful!

Yes, Sheldon was still on the Fantasy in 2022. He returned home in mid-December and was planning to return to the Fantasy after his break.We had Sheldon several times in 2022 and would be ecstatic to have him as a sever in the future!

I do not remember his last name but it started with a "D".

Thanks! I wasn't sure if I should do it beforehand, but in the app onboard sounds easy enough!

Just got back today and Sheldon D’ Souza from India was our server!!! Same guy as the picture you posted! We were so happy . Of course he was fantastic and gave us the best spot at AP! He was with Arie who was great! I just loved his recommendation and he always gave the best food ideas for my girls (14 & 9). He isn't pushy and I don’t feel pressured. Will never not ask for Sheldon!

Thanks! I wasn't sure if I should do it beforehand, but in the app onboard sounds easy enough!

I would recomend that you do it before embarkation to increase your chances of getting your requested server as I was told that most table assignments are made several days before embarkation. It's important to note that the servers only have 4 or 5 tables, so requesting a popular server is more difficult than getting a cabana at CC

The Head Server along with the Server make the final decision - Sheldon told me that if he receives more requests than he has tables, he will select the passengers who he personally knows.

I should highlight that there are many great servers on the Fantasy - although Sheldon is our favorite choice, there are three or four other servers that we have had in the past that we would be happy to have. When I submit my server request, I usually submit two or three names to insure I we get one of our favorites.

FYI: Sheldon will be on leave Sep/Oct 2023. I also showed this post to Sheldon and got a good laugh

We were the party of two during your cruise in Sheldon's section - although we only ate dinner in the MDR a few nights during the cruise.

How do you go about doing it before hand?? The app doesnt let you do it until you are on the ship.

What are the 3 or 4 other servers you would recommend if we aren't lucky enough to get Sheldon?
