our other friends from past cruises will also be on here.

lets hang out/meet up/ its really not as sketchy as it seems. i did this before and ended up being great friends with the kids. either way ill see you onboard =]

My DD's are 18 and 15 as well, and cruised on the Magic for Easter back in 2009. They are hoping to see kids from that cruise. Regardless, it should be a fun trip. The new Vibe club looks like it will be incredible. The teens are very lucky to have the entire bow of the ship to themselves!!

I have been enjoying watching the Video Journal that is being updated every couple of days about the Fantasy. You can also track her progress as she travels the Atlantic heading for her Christening in NYC in less than a week's time.

Check them out on the DCL website!! They are making the wait even harder!!

It is a pleasure. I have to admit though it has been pretty easy since things have been really quiet on the thread.

I am wondering how busy the cruise is going to be. I am still thinking that when the maiden voyage got changed many people had already made their decisions of what to do for this Easter. Who knows? If the ship is as quiet, I am fine with that. Means more rides on the Aquaduck for us.

I am off work this week so I will do some looking for some Swiss things for the FE or just to share with members of our group in general. I have magnet design and found the printable magnets.....but need to find someone with an inkjet printer. They are not as common anymore.

Anyone started packing yet? I will start looking at it this week.

I haven't really started "official" packing yet, but I have started to collect things together that need to be packed. Since DD doesn't know about the trip I have to be discreet. My school (where I teach) is on spring break next week so I am hoping to do some packing next week if my tutoring and final project for a class I'm taking don't take too much time!

We just got our confirmation this week regarding our visit to Kennedy Space Center. I had written to our local representative several months ago to request them and happily we got them. We will be visiting KSC the day before the cruise. Works out great because it's a diversion from DD thinking we are heading to FL for a cruise!

I can't believe how little I know in advance of this cruise. I typically study and plan soooo much before we go, but this time I am strangely more laid back. I hope that works out for me this time...it's so out of character!

Well I received my cruise documents for my April 1 sailing on Friday. So I imagine we can expect our documents for this cruise sometime this week. If this is a surprise for someone in your family, you may want to be the first to the mailbox to grab the envelope.

Look over your documents carefully to make sure your travel dates, room assignment and your luggage tags are all properly labeled. There is also a gret checklist for you to consider.

The arrival of these documents makes the cruise seem so much closer.

Thanks from me as well, Chris, for all the organizing you are doing. I'm actually headed to DW this weekend for the One More Disney Day celebration. Then I'll start focusing on the April cruise. I can't wait to see everyone on the Fantasy!!!

I feel the same about research, I usually plan quite a bit, but this only being the second cruise for the Fantasy there isn't much information to help with the planning.

I have started getting organised. I looked out the kids swimwear to make sure it still fits them, I need to buy a few things for DS. I bought some easter chocolate items yesterday and thought about getting the kids autograph books out. What I am struggling with is a pirate costume for DS, he's only 2 and trying to find something suitable is proving difficult.

As well as working, the two kids and looking after the house I am studying part time at college so time is a bit of an issue at the moment. I have two assignments ready to hand in this week and have another two to do before mid march.....it's all go!

Looking forward to relaxing on the ship and trying some of the bars and some of the tasting sessions. We've already done the wine, so might try something else this time.

I can't believe you got your documents, Christopher!!! That is SOOOO exciting. Why is it that cruises seem so far away for a long, long time and then all of a sudden the time to get ready feels like it's running out! I am starting to feel the pressure now!

Hoping all the other stuff going on the next few weeks will be easy and will give me the opportunity to really start working on packing and shopping.

My DD decided on an overnight to an indoor waterpark with 3 of her friends for her birthday rather than a party, so she gave me a huge gift right there! We're going to have a great time with her friends, but the entertainment is the water park, so I have little planning to do. Yippee!

We received the MV documents earlier Last week, so hoping that this cruise docs turn up this week!

I have started to get together the FE bits ,but not started the packing other than in my head LOL I leave it tilthe week before we travel, and have a pretty set menu for packing!

I need To go get magnet paper for door magnets and for the exchange which I am really looking forward to.

But for now it's off to work!

The Fantasy has arrived safely in NYC!!! The christening of the ship is tomorrow!!! Only 39 days to go! I am getting the suitcases out and can't wait for the cruise documents to land in my mailbox!! I am getting so excited. I am ready for Florida sun and fun and then....Caribbean sailing!

We have a lot of shopping to do...flip flops, bathing suits, dresses for dinner, etc. With four girls, I'd better start this weekend! Winter sports have ended and spring sports will begin sometime in March! I need to fit in some shopping!

I will be watching the christening online tomorrow! Looking forward to that! I know that my bff, my girls and myself will be very emotional when we see the ship for the first time. We will be so overwhelmed with the size of it! I cannot wait to experience that moment! With camera in hand, I will make sure it will be something we won't soon forget!

I finally found sunscreen!!!! Not that easy in Chicago midwest climate. Last April I had to wait until we were in Ft. Lauderdale and bought it then. Our spring break is the week of the cruise and I have 0 days off before that except weekends so packing will be a challenge. Have also been packing in my head. Can anyone tell me if the cruise documents you are talking about will be mailed and nothing left to do via computer? My PC is old and acting goofy, some days it works others not so friendly. I would hate to miss filling something out online!!!
