Fantasmic to Poly timing?

During our stay Fantasmic is at 7:30. How long will it take us to get back to the Poly after the show? I am hoping to get the kids in bed at a reasonable hour so we can get up early for EMH at the MK. Is it unreasonable to think that we could be back to our room by 9?

It will probably take you at least 30 minutes to get out of the theater area. At least that was our experience. Then, since everyone is leaving the area, it is really crowded. If you get out quickly and get on the first bus back to the Polynesian then maybe you could make it for 9. I would suggest sitting at the very top, over towards the reserved area. That way you will be in the first wave to exit.

If you have a car and do the Fantasmic dinner package (and therefore sit in the reserved section that is the first to get out of the theater), this should be no problem at all.

When we were there a few weeks ago, Fantasmic was at 7 and we were on the road (easily) by 8 heading back to the hotel.

Now, if you sit somewhere else in the theater and have everybody in front of you getting out and you don't have a car and have to wait for a bus then it will be tighter but I imagine that you would get back close to 9.

We are doing the package and great idea about the car. This is the first time we are renting a car so I forget that we have it available. I would think that it would save us a great deal of time to not have to sit and wait in the long bus line!
