Fantasmic Package?

Hi all,

Quick question. I have dinner reservations for Mama Melrose at 6:05pm on Friday Sept 16th which I made online thru the Disney online reservation system. We are using the DDP to pay. My question is since we have the reservations do we automatically get the Fantasmic package? Or do I need to call and request it to be added on to the existing reservations?

If not do I just let them know when we show up for dinner that I would like the Fantasmic "passes" after we are thru eating?

Fantasmic is a separate booking. The restaurants that offer the F! package only have ressies at certain times.

Don't show up and expect to be added...you'll be disappointed, I am sorry to say.

I'd call MS or try to book on line immediately to ensure you get exactly what you want...a credit card # is required to book, but is not billed.

FYI...I just checked a F! package for 4 people for your date and the latest avaivability if 5pm. MM really doesn't have anything later that that time frame for the package.

Well that was a close one

I was sure I was good to go and I was not, that would have been a nasty surprise indeed

I just booked the package via credit card at 2:30pm on Sunday Sept 11th at Mama Melrose so now I should be set

Just throwing my .02 in... I would double check on the reservation and make sure they actually have you down for Fantasmic. I went last July and we had the late show with dinner there for the last night in Disney. We notified them at check-in about our Fantasmic, and again when the server arrived.

The server and manager both told us they didn't do the Fantasmic showing, so we missed out on Fantasmic and got Fast Passes for Toy Story.

But we didn't get to see the show.

The OP said she rebooked with her credit card so she did get the F! Dining package.

It sounds like you had a regular reservation at the restaurant much like the OP did at first. You said it was for the late show, but the F! Dining package is only for the first show. Also you have to leave a credit card number when you make the reservation.

Didn't see the third post about rebooking.

I didn't make the reservation, my parents did, but the concierge said we were booked for the restaurant and the show.

But the food is good

W also have a Fantasmic package booked at Moma Melrose for lunch 1:30pm. Can anyone tell me if it is the al la carte menu with the prices posted or a different menu with different prices. Cast member I spoke with was clueless. Thanks in advance!

It is the exact same menu for lunch/dinner that the F! package orders from. One appetizer, entree, dessert and beverage (soda, milk, juice) per person.

F! packages are available for the late show. I booked mine a few days ago for mid August and got the 9pm show. I just checked my confirmation e-mail and it clearly states 9pm. I definately will bring my confirmation just in case.

While you do order off the regular menu, you do not pay a la carte prices. You pay a fixed price for the FDP and with that fixed price you get to choose any single serving appetizer, entree, dessert and non-alcoholic non-souvenir beverage.

Hmmmm...I must have confused the times or was thinking of something else.

I have heard the later show is less crowded...after pounding the parks all day I don't think I'd find my way home to BCV if I went to the 10:30 show

In August it's likely not dark enough out to start the first show any earlier than 9.
