My understanding is that there is a set menu in which to order from at Brown Derby when participating in the Fantasmic Package. I just called main reservation to ask some questions and the CM told me that anything off of the menu can be ordered.

Can anyone who has been at Brown Derby with Fant. Package verify this??

Thanks for any info. :sunny:

You need to be very specific when asking that question. You can have dinner at Brown Derby and still see Fantasmic, without booking the Fantasmic Package. If the CM didn't understand that you were specifically asking about the Fantasmic Package, they will likely provide you the "you can order anything you like" information. Indeed, they may only get the "there is a set menu" part of the script AFTER you try to book the package, when that information actually comes up on their screen.

We had the Fantasmic Package at the Brown Derby on 9/25 @4pm and we were given the regular menu to order off of with no limitations. We were on DDP but paid OOP. Excellent food I had the filet and my wife had the grouper.

You order off a limited menu. We have done it both ways and prefer to just do a Brown Derby meal and head over to Fantasmic with no package. You get better seats too. Now we go offseason in January so it is not a big a deal getting the seats though.

We were there 9/20 and were allowed to order anything off the regular menu.

All the time we have done we ordered off the regular menu. Mam Melrose has a Differnet menu for the package.

We had done it on the package a few years ago and it was a set menu both there and one of the others, not sure of the name but was more like a cafeteria feel. Last trip we did it with just order outside of the packge at Brown Derby and went to the show and sat in the regular section. They might have changed it. Either way, depending on the time of year if you can sit in the non reserved seats they are better as the reserved ones are far off to the right.

I would rather not sit there but if it meant the difference between going to the show or not I would sit anywhere as it is such a spectacular show. By far my favorite nightime show. If they brought back the original MSEP, Fantasmic would come in second (I miss it so much).

We were there a couple weeks ago. We didn't do the package, but the table right next to us did. They ordered off the regular menu.
