I will be at WDW next week. Somehow I have been every year for the last three years and have missed fantasmic every time. This year I vow it will be different. We are going to MGM on Sunday. Has anybody just returned or been this time of year before and can help me with an idea about the crowds? I will have a 4yo dd and 3mo dd and waiting in line for an hour seems daunting. Also I was unable to get a dinner package so that is out. How early do I have to get in line and are their any particular stratagies for a good seat.

Thanks

My suggestion would be to keep calling for a package. We were there last year at this time and are returning this year. With children the ages of yours, the package is really the way to go. From what I have heard you need to be in line approximately 90 minutes before the show to get a good seat. Keep calling back -- there is a cancellation policy and a price charged if the package is not used. I would think that there would be some cancellations.

I also suggest you keep calling. We were there on a Sunday (October 24). I had booked a package 90 days ahead, but less than a week ahead, I changed the time to 45 minutes later. We thought the package was great (Hollywood & Vine). Food was good, not great, but the price and convenience made it worthwhile, and the show was our favorite of the whole trip!
