Fantasmic DP necessary w/shows every night?

When I made our ADR's way back when in April, Fantasmic was only scheduled for the Sunday and Thursday night of trip and I was fortunate enough to get an ADR for the dinner package via Mama's Melrose for Thurs night. Since then, they have added Fantasmic shows to every night of the week and now I am just wondering how necessary it is to do the dinner package in order to see the show. Although Mama Melrose has gotten fairly decent reviews, I am not sure we would have picked it if not for the Fantasmic show.

Has anyone noticed the fantasmic attendance down since opening the show up to every day of the week and would you suggest keeping or ditching our FDP reservation.

I'd suggest keeping it simply for the fact that you don't yet know what crowds will be like now that there will be nightly shows for a while.

We'll be going soon, and now that I know there's nightly shows, I plan on making an ADR. You can always cancel later if you change your mind!

We have never done a F! dinner pakage and have never had a problem seeing the show - even when it was only twice per week.

We did the F! package at Mama melrose's one year and it was decent. I just found the restaurant itself rather boring compared to 50s and Sci-fi. I just love 50's for atmosphere and comfort food. And Sci-fi is so unique (burgers and shakes were really good too). If you don't need the package (which I suspect you don't), I'd go elsewhere.

That dinner gives you the worst seats that Fantasmic has to offer. You might think that buying their little package gives you decent seats...but you'd be wrong!

It also doesn't guarantee you a seat if you don't show up at least 30 minutes early.

I 100% disagree. I have no problems with the seats and have done F! package several time and seen F! without it as well. The only seats that have a bothersome view to me are the ones directly behind of the large poles. I find very few seats to have an advantage over any others in the F! stadium and that most offer the same view and we have not miss any of the action from any of the available seats.
