Fantasmic Dinner Package Question

When I go in August on Deluxe Dining, can I use TS credits to get the Fantasmic Dinner package or is that wholly separate and I must pay out of pocket for it?

Just did this in Dec. 08 and used 2 TS credits for it--so yes you can get it on the Dining Plan. Let the ressie taker know that is what you want. I cannot remember if I had to give them a credit card ## to hold the table. We had a great time. We ate about 3:45 and then went to the early show. They say get there in plenty of time but I think 30 minutes is plenty. We entered through the main gate and then showed our seating time card. Don't sit too close you may get wet. Have a great time.

Also check--seems like we got appetizers with this--I just can't remember.

Yep-

They take a CC like they do for Cindy's royal table just as a hold. It is one TS credit for mama rosas or hollywood and vine and 2 for the brown derby. You have to tell the CM when recerving that you want fantasmic.

Couple of things...they have cut down on the number of Fantasmic showings, so 30 minutes is not enough time according to all the recent posters (who have gone on the 2009 schedules) People have reported getting in there a full 60 minutes before the show & it's already standing room only. So if they're still only doing 2 or 3 shows a week, get there early. And the shows will be later at night in August because they don't show until dark, so try for the latest Fantasmic Dinner package you can get - might not be any later than 5:00 p.m., but that's better than 3:30 or 4:00.

WOW!!! Now you have to use 2 TS for Fantasmic....I went 2 yrs ago and did it, we only had to use 1. I would not have done it for 2....not worth it!!!! The show is great but not worth 2 credits. We got CRAPPY seats!!!! Last year we waited in line and got MUCH better seats.

It is 1 TS credit at Mama Melrose and also 1 TS at Hollywood & Vine. The only place it takes 2 TS is Brown Derby - which is a signature restaurant that always takes 2 TS whether or not you're doing the package.

The lines this year have been reported to be outrageously huge because they are down to as few as 2 nights a week - reportedly, there is a huge crowd of people lining up more than 2 hours in advance and still getting standing room only. There are reports that 45 minutes before the show, the CMs are putting signs out on the street telling people the show is full.
