Has anyone succeeded in seeing both Fantasmic and Jingle Bell Jingle Bam last year when they were only 30 min apart?

Some have, but one show or the other must be "short-changed."

F! alone runs a half-hour.

There are showtimes on the Disney world site... JBJB at 8 pm and Fantasmic at 830... at least for the days in December I am there.

So I guess we can watch JBJB and be a little late for Fantasmic. Or does Fantasmic always fill up? Crowd calendar shows 5/10 crowd level for that day.

You'd be taking a risk at fantasmic being full and possibly having no seats. I really wanted to do both but i refuse to miss fantasmic as its my favorite night time show and I like having good seats.

I had the same question, and it seems a lot of people (now and last year) are of the opinion it's just not as relaxed or fun to do both.

FYI, I was able to do both JBJB at 8pm and Fantasmic at 8:30 this past Monday (NOV 27). Our spot for Fantasmic was terrible (on the edge) but we got there on time and were seated so that's something. (Crowd calendar 4 though so not a very crowded park).

So... that means they were able to do both? I can relax at work! Lol

People have reported they were able to do both, but it means you have bad viewing for at least one of them depending on which one is first. If F! is the second show, you do run the risk of not getting in at all if it's a busy F! night.

This!

On X night, some guests who tried to see both, got to see both. But, will that happen for you?
It absolutely depends on so many unpredictable factors that it cannot be something to "expect."

There are many nights when the Fantasmic! theater will be full by 10-20 min. before start-time.
Or, at least have a line of late-arriving guests so long that the show will start
before those waiting can find a spot.

Anyone who wants to try this combo of shows may have a fighting chance, but do not
"expect" it to happen, nor "relax" with the idea that it will be likely on the night(s)
you happen to be there.

Why does this matter?
I would rather a guest be "pleasantly surprised" and happy about being able to see both shows, than to be "shocked and disappointed" with WDW that the expected two-show viewing didn't work out.
