Fans and/or lights on porches in HH?

I feel dumb for asking, b/c I really should know the answer to this. My parents will be joining us for a few days next week and my dm likes to sit outside at night, but she's used to her lanai in FL with the screen. If she brings some bug candles, will she be able to sit out at night, or will she be mosquito food? I don't remember there being a ceiling fan on the porch. I don't even remember there being a porch light. Anybody sit out there at night??

You're right, there is no fan or light on the HH balconies. I do sit out on ours most every night and have never had a problem with mosquitos. We've always had a 2nd floor room, so I don't know if first floor would be more prone to that problem or not.
