Fan club price is the same as the regular Power Pass

I looked at the Fan club price for a power pass and it was $117.10+10% discount, whereas the regular price is $99.95 + Tax at the moment. With the 10% discount on Fan club deosn't that make the prices the same? Where is the benefit, should it be 10% off the $99.95 price?

Looks as though the Fan Club card price is off the regular price of the Power Pass. On the Universal website, it states that the $99.95 is only being offered for a limited time. I think the Power Pass price will be going up to $109.95, but I did not see a date on Universal's website.
