Fan Club Card

tinkerbarb,
I got my Fan club card in the mail yesterday. Thank you soooo much for sending it to me. I really appreciate it!

Ya know what really freaked me out this morning? I opened up an email from Universal STudio's ( I signed up to get stuff sent to me)...anyway... they were offering a special....pay for 1 day and get a year for free....I was hooping and hollering....and then when I read more it was for Universal Hollywood....talk about the air let out of my sail. (

Oh well.....keeping my fingers crossed anyways for a good deal!

Thanks Ohanafamily for letting me know....I'll go and check out the web site and see what they offer.

Just a heads up for anyone looking to book one of the 0n-site hotels using the Fan Club card. The rates are good through April 10, 2003.

$129 at the Portofino Bay Hotel
$109 at the Hard Rock Hotel
$99 at Royal Pacific Resort

It says these rates must be booked online only.

These are quite a bit cheaper than the Entertainment rates!

Really, When we went the Entertainment Passbook rate was much lower. I guess one needs to check all of the rates when one calls....

Does anyone know if you can apply a fan club card to an existing registration. We made res prior to receiving fan club card. Is it worth calling and trying to get a reduced rate for next week? Reduced rate just shown by Jessica R is significantly lower than our rate.

you can't apply it to an existing reservation, by they can rebook if the rate is available. It is DEFINATELY worth a phone call..especially a toll free one.

What you would need to do is go here first Fan Club Universal check availability for your dates and book the reservation online. You could then call and cancel your original reservation. I called because I also had a different rate booked and tried doing it over the phone and could NOT get the rate that I was able to get online. Make sure you use the code FCO when checking rates online. Good Luck!

I can't place a reservation as there is "no more room at the inn!"
No availability for the dates we will be there. Oh well. Maybe we can try in person.

try calling the front desk (let me know which hotel and I will supply the phone number) and asking if there is a fan club, passbook, or AAA rate available. You do not have to have the card at the time of booking, so it may pay to get one...

Hey everybody!

I have a question. For the longest time, I've had what's called a "Silver Stars Club" card. Does this constitute as a type of Fan Club card?

Kevin, I'm not sure, but When tinkerbarb gets back, PM her to get a new one. I'm sure she won't mind

How far in advance do they have fan club card rates? Off the subject but where do you guys like to eat at US
