We were walking into Epcot IG last Sat evening for dinner (3/4) when DH noticed Jerry Rice (SF football player and Dancing w/ Stars) walking alone right behind us. DH turned and said "Hi, are you Jerry Rice?", he replied that he was... then we saw the massive Superbowl ring on a gold chain @ his neck). I asked if he was at Disney for the ESPN weekend at MGM. He chatted a few minutes about that, he asked if we were having a good time and how long had we been there so far. Then he said he was lost, had to get to a dinner event at the Yacht Club steakhouse. Well he was headed into Epcot so we turned him around and pointed out where to go. He was very personable and friendly. We did not ask for an autograph or photo as it seemed sort of tacky, we enjoyed talking to him and seeing that he is just a nice guy.

:goodvibes

OMG...........I would have totally freaked out!!!! I just LOVE Jerry Rice!!!! :thumbsup2

A few weeks back, my DW and I were waiting in the 1st row line for EE, when we saw a camera crew walk by us and then came Ed Sanders (the English guy), from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. I saw, "Hey, there's Ed!" He just kept walking (hopefully he didn't hear me.) He went around a back walkway towards the back of the ride. That was the first celeb we had seen at Disney, so it was pretty cool!!

Anybody ever met Tori Amos....at Disney or otherwise???
I have been trying to get to meet her at her forever (been to like 6 concerts in the last 11 years). I would go nuts if I met her. Other than her I don't care about celebs.
We saw a lot of celebs at the resort I worked at in Montana. Ted Turner, Robert Redford, Meg Ryan, Dennis Quaid, and Vince Gill (who my SIL cleaned his room and she said he was a jerk in person).

This past Christmas trip, we saw Danny Bonaduce walking around at MK with his kids. Not the same thing, but we got to see John Stamos at the Candlelight Proccessional at Epcot this year too.

Saw John Stamos at the processional this year(2005) to he was very good.

A couple yrs ago in march of either 03 or 04 forget which yr now but Mariah Carey was one " elevator ride ahead of me in TOT

Back in 1996 (I think) my daughter and I saw Breanna Leary and JD Roth in the MK and I got my daughter's pic with them. They hosted Disney's Inside Out. I really enjoyed that show!

We met Bruce Jenner in the elevator at the Animal Kingdom Lodge last Sunday. Nice guy.

Stephanie from Full House...she was just trying to have a good time and some teenagers just kept chasing her. I actually saw her running away towards the exit when she was "discovered"...Price of fame I guess.
She's a meth addict now.

While on the Disney Cruise we met the cast from According to Jim. We also met Braid Paisley who is married to one of the cast members from Jim. Ingo Raddamacker (sp.) who plays Jax from General Hospital was on the cruise. He was my favorite person to meet!

Although I don't recall seeing any one famous at Disney, I did see Harrison Ford once. I live in the Washington, DC area and was walking during my lunch on the mall when my friend and I saw a small commotion. They were filming Random Hearts and doing the scene of Ford and Thomas talking on the mall. I was surprised because he was shorter than I had expected.

Terri Nunn...Best one of all in my book..If you don't know who she is..shame on you (Lead singer of Berlin..."Take my Breath Away", "Metro", etc., etc.). She was performing a Pleasure Island one Halloween (1994ish). I was in the front row and while they were singing the song "Masquerade" she made and held eye contact with me for so long, that everyone around was looking to see what she was looking at...I held eye contact until I noticed my ex looking back and forth at us....after the show I saw her walking down the street in PI and did not have the courage to say anything to her...wow...talk about "take my breath away.."

Oh, you are a lucky, lucky man.....!!!!!! I was at the performance you are describing, which occurred on October 31, 1996. I got near the front of the crowd and took the pictures below. Having that Goddess of edgy pop zeroing in on you - I can only imagine what that must have felt like..... :cloud9:

I so want to meet/see a celebrity. I have been to LA and NYC and kept my eyes peeled, but who know I could have seen them and didn't recognize them due to no make up/ with hats on etc.

I do believe though, I sat next to Burt Reynolds on a first class flight from LAX. He was on the plane first, before anyone, then when I boarded as a first class passenger, he had a newspaper up so nobody could see him, but he was on the aisle and I had the window seat so I had to say "excuse me", I had to say it several times as maybe he was avoiding contact with people. Once in flight he read a golf mag and he was the first off the plane. :confused3

My dad and I also both at the same time said "That looked like Dion Sanders" at the San Antonio Airport.

I will keep my eyes peeled once again on my trip to Disney for a sighting.

Saw Jeff Corwin filming in EE line last week. Also saw Brad Ausmus-catcher for Houston Astros walking at MK last Friday after the ESPN weekend. :yay:

A few years ago in NYC as we were walking along the sidewalk, Paul McCartney walked out of a building, crossed right in front of us, and got into a limo. My DH (who's not a big music fan) didn't even notice, LOL, but a fellow pedestrian and I looked at eachother and were like, wow, can you believe that? :earseek:

Joey Lawrence. It was 1993. I was on spring break with a friend from college and, news to me, she was a HUGE fan. We were having a blast -I'm certain that we had been overserved - and wanted to have our picture taken at the Polynesian. We asked the first person we saw to take the picture and...it was Joey. My roomate screamed and proceeded to chase the poor kid (we were young, but he was MUCH younger). He literally dropped the camera and ran from her (technically us). Funny memory to look back on - it was actually pretty funny then! Wonder if he remembers - he looked pretty horrified!

We saw Marie Osmond at the Coronado Springs gift shop this weekend. There was a Children's Miracle Network convention at the resort, and I was told the Osmond family started that charity, so I'm sure that was why she was there. She was autographing a Mickey doll for a darling girl who happened to be in a wheel chair. Marie visited with the girl and her family for quite awhile, and Marie talked about her eight children, and how much they enjoyed WDW. I'm a child of the sixties, so I was quite impressed to see Marie, but I didn't say anything to her, since she was on vacation. My 11-year-old daughter, who was with me, didn't have a clue who Marie Osmond was, so I sang my rendition of "Paper Roses" for her. She was not impressed!

Wonder if he still remembers ? ? ?

I would imagine he is still in therapy over that incident! :rotfl2:
