Family of 6 loves the food at Disney. Lots of Photos! Finally updated on Page15!

I just wanted to say that you have a really great looking family....I loved seeing pictures of your kids...you all look like you had a great time!

I try to make sure to look at your posts during breakfast or lunch because those pictues certainly make my mouth water. We tried Raglan Road last year, just a few months after it opened. I had the "not chowder" too and really enjoyed it...even though I am from New England and it's definitely not like any chowder we have here.

Thank you for sharing some of your other photos too. They are fantastic and make me feel like I'm almost there.

Awesome reviews thanks can't wait to read more! Great photos as well thanks for taking the time to share with us!:thumbsup2 :cool1:

Ohh...your reviews and pictures are amazing! I can't wait to read (and see) more...lol....

Thank you

Will you be doing a trip report as well? Please do! I really am enjoying your reviews!

No. No trip report for me. I don't want to bore you will the details of the trip.

I LOVE your pictures of EPCOT in the rain. Those pictures really brought me there! It seems that when we are in WDW, we always get rain in EPCOT! Great pics and reviews!
Thanks. We felt the same way about Animal Kingdom after it rained on us last year. It was a park we were almost expecting rain in . But it doesn't really work with all weather - I don't think on our next trip we'll be expecting a high of 96 on our AK day! :rotfl2:

Loving your food report and drooling over your pictures. I have the same camera but have never gotten such beautiful shots with it of anything close up like your food. Can I ask what settings you are using for the food? And I assume you are not using a flash, is that right?
Thank you. No flash when ever possible. So with the spoodles pics and most lunch photos there was enough available light to turn off the flash. However that wasn't the case at most dinners.

For all the food pictures I used the "p" setting. This allowed me to set the ISO at 800 and to choose whether I wanted to use the flash. How ever on this setting, the camera chooses the shutter speed and the f stop. It mostly was 1/60 with f/4 or f/5 when the flash was on.

Colleen - thanks for all the wonderful pictures and food reviews! I found this thread while having a "Should we keep our Mama Melrose ressie or change it?" moment, so appreciate your thoughts on the food there, I hadn't even considered the Penne and Vodka dish, but it looks better than it sounds in the menu description.

Love that Glowtini shot! That's just beautiful! Well... one of many beautiful shots, you do a great job. DH and I saw the people running in ponchos in the rain at EPCOT and said "That looks familiar!"

Looking forward to the rest of your reviews and pictures, we have some of the same restaurants booked. Glad you had a good experience at Le Cellier. Do you think eating there very early for dinner helped? Less crowded? Less weary servers?

thank you. Yes. I think going early was really helpful. There were quit a few empty tables when we were seated, though they were all filled withing a half hour. Our server Sarah was excellent and so were other servers who came over to joke with us.

great reviews and pictures

This is such a wonderful review! Your pictures are awesome!

AWESOME reviews.

Can't wait for more.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.:grouphug:

Great reviews! And lovely pictures as well. We have a Canon Rebel and absolutely love it. Takes wonderful pictures. Totally worth the money IMO!
Thanks, I love  my digital rebel too.

I can almost feel the rain.... (We don't bother with ponchos. We just think of it as riding Kali River Rapids with no wait! )

:rotfl: We didn't really bother with ponchos. either. We waited for the rain to die down a little and headed for the car. We had just left the park when it started to pour! We were all drenched when we got back to the car. It was fun though:thumbsup2

enjoyed reading your dining reviews so far! i got very excited when i was looking @ the le cellier pics cause we are going there for the 1st time on our next trip!! i've already decided what i want - shrimp cocktail for appy, mushroom filet, and creme brulee sampler!! Yum, yum!!! i'm looking forward to your kona' review cause we are going there too!

Just found your report, really enjoying it.
I agree with you about Le Cellier, Spoodles and Mama Melrose.
Enjoyed the first two, didn't think that MM was that great.
Wonderful pictures.

Colleen - Great pictures and review of Le Cellier. It's been years since we've eaten there and everything looked yummy (except for the mushrooms) LOL!
