family boating?

I stumbled across some links to marinas at WDW were families can rent pontoon boats or watermice, maybe some SeaRay for 3 people. Wondering if there is a similar thing in Kissimmee or Lake Buena Vista that would be similar or if I should scout out the WDW info and prices on that activity. I believe one location with limited water vehicles can be found at Downtown Disney.

There are some links in this thread to the WDW boating websites. Someone else recently posted a thread called "suggestions from a local" that had some links to boat cruises / tours you can take on various Orlando lakes / waterways...but none (that I know of) where you can rent a boat you drive yourself outside of the WDW ones.

We've done this and it was an absolute blast by the way! They rent them at Downtown Disney, the Polynesian, and also (I think) the Grand Floridian (and maybe other locations too, not sure on this, we did it from the Poly).

WDW only allows their boats on the water ways at WDW.
