God bless the imagineers who fought to keep this attraction, don’t want it falling by the wayside like Muppets.
Is it a worry that they will scrap it? Muppets was a way lower quality attraction than this. This attraction is way more unique and not just a screen with one live character. Muppets was also at times a little off to the side, this one is also too but you can see it easier. Also, the wait times for this are a lot less for obvious reasons. The 3D stuff just isn’t that great for kids who don’t really wanna wear the glasses.

the train is also right behind this, but that hasn’t stopped them in the past. This attraction also has Walt written all over it, plus if they trash it than it won’t be a great big beautiful tomorrow

There’s been rumors, probably for decades at this point that it might be on its last legs. I definitely agree that it is more of a ‘sacred cow’ than Muppets 3D was, but that doesn’t mean that it was never going to be on the chopping block.

TBH I think if they had room behind it, or if it was the only attraction at Tomorrowland it might be more at risk, but currently there’s not much you can do there other than another show.

it would also impact the people mover so that would be two people eaters gone. Granted the carrousel of progress doesn’t get the attendees it should get. They have that parking lot near it that they can also utilize for something. But it’s something that all ages can do so they should t replace it with a thrill ride. Hopefully it stays my kids ask to go on it

If heard (rumours only) that the mechanisms could be challenging to repair. Considering it’s the seating full of people that rotates each time I can only imagine how challenging that would be on 60+ year old technology/structure.

Rumor started picking up elsewhere last month that this one is dealing with mechanical issues and they needed to do something, either a major renovation or replacement.

I am so excited about this, more than about any other WDW change that’s been announced. It will definitely keep me coming back!
