Falling for a Mouse! My first attempt at a PTR

So a lot has happened over the last few weeks. I was looking into becoming a travel agent a few months ago, and was talking to a few agencies around here, then one had asked me to come in and see her in person. One thing has lead to another, and I am currently doing courses, learning about the ins and outs of different places, then in September I will hopefully be working Part time for them. I am so excited! Today I started my Disney course, so we will see how that goes. The DLR and WDW portion was easy (thanks to a lot I learned on here!) and now I am into the DCL side.

I am at the 100 day post, so double digit dance for me tomorrow! I can hardly wait, I will be sure to do some crazy silly dance that my kids just roll their eyes over!

There's something fishy going on here... if we are going the same day, why does my countdown (my my cell) say 99 days? And your ticker says 100 days?

Well we are sitting at 84 days now, getting more excited! Hope everyone had a great Holiday weekend. First Canada day here on July 1st and then Independence Day today!

We spent our holiday weekend camping out at my uncles place out at the lake. Very happy the weather held out till now to tuen crappy!

Not to many more plans, just waiting for plans to finalize for the second trip, girls weekend! I am very excited.

Not to much happening ehre. We are still trying to decide if we are going to do the Halloween party, I would like to but that will mean a extremly long day for us since I am planning breakfast at the plaza inn. But it would be a great bday present for E.

Its super hot here right now, hotter then in DL! Weird, we have been matching WDW temps this week with the temp and humidity, wish I was at WDW then maybe I would have some AC.

Oh well we will make it through, L has the flu, E had it earlier in the week and I am sure that the heat is not helping anyone. L is currently dosed up on Tylenol to bring down the fever and help with the body aches, sitting in front of the fan and eating freezies and drinking juice! I think I should go join him!

Thanks for following along, I am really starting to get excited, yet at the same time nervous on how the little one will do. He is starting to really turn into a trouble maker! good one second and then the next total meltdown. But thats the terrible 2's right?

I have to get some of the pictures downloaded from our summer adventures, I have not done to much but I did get my hair done today, I am now very very Blonde!

Hi Erin - I just seen your PTR and enjoyed catching up on it! You guys are going to have so much fun at DL can't wait to hear about Carsland (my kids keep seeing it on TV and want to go lol).

So how is the travel agent training going? Once you get set up at your travel agency you will be able to get travel agent discounts on Disny travel

Training is good, finished my Disney one, and a cruise one. Having fun and loving the ladies in the office.

So the girls trip to DL we got a great rate at Super 8, we dont need anything special, and with no kids don't care if we are a little further from Disney. So for under $500 I got air hotel and transfers!

there is a thread under creative dis that explains how to do them, it was really easy though. I recommend finding it as they give step by step instructions!

Those shirts look fabulous!

DD has said she will even wear one of those so I may just have to get myself into gear and make it happen! No Dis shirts for her this year though, just for me!!!
I have had one shirt made so far that I had professionally done with "my" mansion on it!!!

So we have been super busy lately!

I made it through the 3 weeks DH was gone for work, the weather has either been super hot or super wet, and the flu hit our house as well the last week of July!

August Long weekend (for those of you who get one!) was spent at the Big Valley Jamboree, the kids enjoyed themselves, and L was super excited when Rascal Flatts sang Life is a highway, complete with videos from Cars on the background! I really made his day.

We spent this last weekend with family for DH bday and then my moms 60th! Now I am ordering shirts to get all of that accomplished in the next few weeks and start packing for our trip!

Just checking in to say Hi!!!

Wow, we love country music in this house ( please exclude 15 year old DD from that statement ) and we lurve Rascall Flats! I bet your son would have loved the Cars montage........I love the movies and the soundtrack is great!!!

I am just in the process of tidying up the last minute things now. Only one more shirt to do, need to finish getting our ADR's and just checking everything to make sure I haven't missed anything!!!

I have been taking advantage of the Disney Store sales over the last few weeks and we will have some super cool stuff waiting for us when we arrive! I have also got a grand sum total of $1200.00 in Disney gift cards now, so we shouldn't need much cash at all!!!
One of the pin sets I am looking to bring home is around $400.00, so I will use cards for this. I saw it the last time we were there and it is the word Disneyland spelled out in beautiful pins and framed under glass. I would much rather put my money towards a collectible piece, rather than spending lots on little fiddly bits and pieces. If they don't have it any more, I am sure there will be something else that catches my eye!!!
I have also ordered one with $300.00 on it to use for our character meals!
