Falling asleep at American Adventure

This is great news to find out that my DH is in such good company. I will not worry now about others judging him harshly, as it seems so many can relate. So if you're at the World the second week of December, and you see a big Italian man nodding off, just know that he's really a super guy.:D

After getting up early and walking around the parks all day, if the next attraction is sitting in the dark, well...... chances are very good, my eyes are drifting shut. Can't tell you how many times this has happened. Sometimes it's all you need to recharge the battery and then I'm set to go for another few hours.
I'm in my early 40's and I need to recharge the battery, can't see how kids do it all day!! Youth...it's wasted on the young!
I week from today, we'll be eating, drinking and being merry at the Food & Wine Festival!! Can't wait..

One of the best place's to nap in "The World".Wonder if I could get an AP rate there?

Last week DH said I'm tired, let's hit American Adventure for a nap. We both zonked out and felt great when we woke up!

I love napping in the universe of energy. I try to stay awake at AA and HoP but oh well if I don't. DH never lasts through any of them.

The chairs are very comfy.... We used to nap when we were little - in fact, Dad said Mom once fell asleep while nursing me in the American Adventure!

Now, though, I never fall asleep and I always come out crying. I don't know why - I think it's the song. :o

I'm so happy to see this thread. 2 weeks ago DH & I took our parents, my mom & step dad, DH's parents and brother, to WDW. Our 2nd day there we went to EPCOT. They had been saying for months that people kept telling them they just had to go see HoP. I thought, AA is MUCH better than HoP IMHO, so let's do that so they can compare. I remember seeing it for the first time in Oct 2001, just a few weeks after 9/11, and there was a standing ovation. I was in tears!!! Well, this time after about 5 minutes I noticed my step dad sleeping, then my husbands parents each started to dose, then ME!!! We were tired, it was just after lunch, it was nice and cool in there. I just couldn't
believe it! I had never fallen asleep in there before, and that was my 4th time seeing it.

Well, after that my inlaws decided they DID NOT want to see HoP, so I feel bad about that. But I still love AA and so does DH.

And then DH reads this post over my shoulder and tells me he takes naps in AA too!

At least he doesn't snore!

Let's face it....so many of us are sleep deprived with a WDW vacation.
Does anyone get a full, restful night's sleep the night before travel? For me, I can barely wait to get to a park as soon as I get to WDW. Then, I'm very busy all day.

As much as I love AA, or HOP, or the Movie in France, I have nodded off in those places. I never think of anyone as being disrespectful;
just tired.

DH once slept through the entire animated movie inside The Living Seas.

I say to allow every one to nod off as long as they aren't disturbing anyone with snoring,
