Fall Break for schools in the south?

I'm in SC and our district does not get a fall break

I live in the biggest school district in NC and we don't get a fall break, but we do have Year Round school at some schools. My DD is off for the first 3 weeks of October. We have been to Disney for several years in a row during October and every year it gets more crowded. Avoid the days before and after Columbus Day the week if possible. After last years crowd, I shortened our trip and we are going home Oct. 3.

Cherokee County, GA here (north of Atlanta). We have September 15 - 19 off (and that's when we're heading to Disney). No days off in October.

We don't get a fall break here in North Florida.

South Texas here....our county fair/livestock show is the 3rd week in October and all of the schools in the county are out Wednesday thru Friday of that week. Kids with show animals would have to miss school to care for animals and compete. Those without animals would skip school so now it's a big holiday.
