Fall 2026 itineraries

More cynical reason for the delay is so more people pass their paid in full dates for 2025 and don't move them to 2026.
Possibly, but I'm not convinced on this, PIF date is Aug to mid Dec 2025 sailings. If someone knows they don't want to sail Fall 25, they would have already moved it to the last available 2026 date. I dont think they could offer anything to convince people who are looking forward to a cruise this year to delay for a year.

I think we also view all of this far too much through our own eyes of informed travelers who hang out on a discussion board. When I look at how my friends book travel, none of them would be alert to look check pricing when new itineraries have been announced and then move their vacation by a year. There might be some people, but I think the percentage is very low.

I actually think they need to release soon, otherwise their 4th quarter numbers will take a hit. They usually collect deposits for the following fall/winter in June. Currently they don’t have these deposits on the book. Disney’s business year ends 9/30. It will look like they made less money if they don’t have similar deposit numbers as previous years. That’s why I am not buying the October release rumor.

I’m going with D23. I don’t think they have anything going on to get people excited. They’re destroying rivers of America. They’ve laid waste to the muppets. People (ok, me) are still sore over splash mountain and the nonsensical idea of mountains in Louisiana. Dysfunctional lightening lanes. Ride breakdowns. On and on. People are generally over Disney management. DCL is a bright spot for them. Everyone always says you can still have the Disney experience at DCL. I say they’re gonna put ships in “new” ports like nyc and Galveston and try to make hay over it at d23, do one of their “reveals” where they jump on stage with those Patagonia vests. 🙄
Then we get the itineraries.

Simply anecdotal but I've received better service from CMs at WDW the past 3-4 years than my last 4 DCL cruises. Agreed on the maintenance: if Tokyo can function without a broken effect, so too can Disney US.

Destiny also getting some 7 nights... Wow DCL listened for once that we are over the short sailings! Prices look about the same as last offerings but will do some comparisons in a bit- Dream 7 nights obviously much cheaper than Destiny or Treasure

Click on the "Our Ships" tab at the top, click on the ship you want, once you are on THAT ship's "page" click on "view cruises", find the itinerary you like then click on "show dates" and it will display all the cruise dates so far, including past September 2026........ There might be other ways but that method is working for me
