Fall 2026 itineraries

I'm very curious about where the Wonder and Magic will go after the Alaska season in Fall 2026. Probably won't happen, but I'd love to see one of the smaller ships in the Southern Caribbean, sailing more interesting itineraries. I've done the Bahamas and Western with DCL (plus two Eastern itineraries with other lines) and I just find the current DCL offerings so boring! I can see why they will keep the big, new ships on those routes and many people like them, but the small ships would be perfect for something more interesting. I loved Barbados, Dominica and Curacao and would really like to see Disney going there on a regular basis.

I would love that too (more Southern Caribbean) - but I doubt out of San Juan, unless DCL can get a more favorable timing to sail out of there. I have been on some of them, and they eventually fill out, but they have also been often discounted. It may be easier to have one ship on the East Coast that more often does longer itineraries which includes the Southern Caribbean and either of Castaway, Lookout or both.

I agree that there’s no reason to suspect that we’re getting anything beyond May 2027 at the latest with the next release.

I agree, I think we might get to May 2027 but Athens port schedule hasn’t even spoiled us for the Europe cruises yet so can’t imagine they would release this yet.

I really want a Southern from PC (or PE, but PC would be a preference) for like 10-12 days not in summer.

The 11-night Southern we did on the Fantasy from PC in 2017 is still one of the best cruises we’ve ever done.

I agree that there’s no reason to suspect that we’re getting anything beyond May 2027 at the latest with the next release. Signs pointed to two reasons for the delay- pulling out of Australia, and also declining sales and trying to encourage people to book the current offerings. DCL wants people spending their money sooner rather than waiting till later.

It probably has everything to do with Australia and nothing to do with soft sales. Prior to 2019 there was a thread that kept track of all the discounts from GT, MTO, Floridian and others and the discounts were more plentiful back then then now. It's never affected releases. If you need a year to save up for a cruise you are not booking now anyway.

I would LOVE one of these in the winter (Jan- Feb time frame). I understand why they have them in the summer (kids out of school) but I would kill for a winter option.
