Fall 2016 planning (continuation of 2016 Free Dining Watch)

So here is a question, what do you do in the down time between doing ADR and FP and then the time between FP and the actual trip. I'll admit that my trip is just under four months away and last night I packed snacks. I'm this close to packing all the shirts, minus four that I need to order. I just bought a new pair of shoes too. The waiting is the worst part. I guess I'll start my toiletries list...

I know the feeling! I am going to start a list of qs and snacks that I want to try. I read lots of dis boards. Pinterest articles about secrets of Disney(most I know but sometimes I find a new one to add to a list) Check disneys site hoping to get 1 more day of free dining instead of the ro I have. I am obsessed. No one wants to talk to me about Disney at home and I am worried by the time I get there I will be disney-ed out......no that won't happen!

The food was terrible. But I know I am in the minority there. But all 8 of us agreed and had to eat again later because it was gross. The show was fun, the kids love it.

I like German food. So, it was great in my book.

It's not for vegans. You should like cabbage braised in bacon and meat.

The salads at WCC were nice.

My older son, 9, loves the food at BG. He ate four helpings, and one of the older German waitresses took a shine to him for eating so well. She said it doesn't appeal to many children, and she was happy to see him happy.

He's an adventurous eater.

So is there " real" meat, or just sausages/brats and such. I think only option I've seen was chicken. Is that correct?

Bypass everything but the Spaetzle. Grab some pretzel rolls. It's all you need!
Lol! I did hear those were good. Guess I COULD survive on those Anna couple salads. A slice of meat would have been nice though. Not that I've decided yet. It's between there and Chefs de France. So basically what I want versus what I think the rest of the family would like. Lol!

This is my life's question! Lately we have been obsessing about flights since it was next on our list and prices usually come down after 4 months out, and we are about 2 weeks away from that. We both applied for a delta credit card so we could get 30,000 miles each, and it took forever for the miles to post, and now we are obsessively checking prices several times a day.

I have also been using TP to make plans for our days so we know what our FP should be for each day of our trip. I have also been hunting for cute pendants for the pick a pearls that each of our girls will get in Japan after we eat at Teppan Edo.

I have been looking at shirts to get customized for our girls and a couple of dresses too,at consignment shops, as well as hunting for stuff for them and us that's on our Disney list (ponchos, special sunscreen for the parts of our pigtail wearing kids, scrapbook stickers to make their autograph books, etc.) I haven't been on Facebook in WEEKS! Once we got FD, I got hooked on the hunt and now I'm constantly looking for that same high, LOLOL!!!

I go over cheat sheets to get ready for FP. I check for new times if I have any ADR's I need to change. I research all the booths at the F&W festival to see which ones I want to visit. I make sure everyone has enough outfits and shoes that will still fit by the time we go(my oldest seems to be growing faster than the season lasts). I work on Halloween party costumes and getting things together to decorate our window in our room. I surf the net for any updates or tips. About 30 days out I make a list of things I need to get together and items to purchase. Then about 2 weeks before our trip I lay everything out in the spare bedroom to be packed. Finally, thanks to my oldest for encouraging me to sign up for disboards, I now have other Disney fanatics to share the excitement with while we wait.:D

I can imagine my mother rolling her eyes when she calls and asks me what I'm doing and I tell her I'm on the computer looking at Disney things.
