sounds like fun to go with your sisters.

We have been in May, September and October; looking forward to the cooler weather and the Christmas decorations. We have the QSDP this trip and looking forward to more freedom to eat when and where we want.

You will love Christmas down there. I went the week before Thanksgiving in 2013. This year we moved it to the week after Thanksgiving to get FD so I'm hoping to see a little more of the holiday decorations and other stuff I missed out on.

In surprised you didnt get that second BOG breakfast though.

My booming day is May 31st. So I get up at 5:15am CST, so I'll just set my alarm a little earlier and book my ADRs

I saw a tip on the restaurant board about bookmarking each restaurant and so you don't have to "find" each one to book and have your credit card# in your profile in advance. we arrive before FD starts up again, wonder it that made a difference. Crossing my fingers it does when I make FP+ for the new Frozen ride.

we are there the week before Thanksgiving. due to work commitments we can't change our arrival date (11/12). No FD but got a really good deal from a TA that included the QSDP, and PH plus a one day ticket to a water park (might be too cold). not as good as FD but cheaper in than a RO/FD split stay.

I went online at 6am and was able to get my ADR's. The only one that was hard was the BOG dinner, but I did get one. Good luck!!!!!!

That was the week we wanted again. I loved having the week of Thanksgiving to recover before the kids had to go back to school. Very low crowds, at least in 2013. We did have a couple warm days that the kids spent at the resort pools. One being our last day, so you may just get to that water park!

Log into MDE (I use my laptop) click into things to do, make dining reservations and then find the restaurants, click on each and bookmark through your browser.
This morning I logged in, went to each restaurant and made the ADR for each. made it much easier than having to find each restaurant

We have decided to do EMH instead of BOG breakfast and do BOG lunch instead. Congratulations on getting everything you wanted!!! I am also not doing FD so my booking window opens up 1 day before.

Everyone just usually gives me their favourites and I figure it out from there. This time DS9 wants to help and keeps changing things, LOL!

My family doesn't really want to work on planning either. They say they do but, as soon as I start explaining how complicated the choices are, everyone's eyes glaze over. At least it means they are super grateful that I do it since, "it is obviously so complicated and boring"?

I always feel that my family does appreciate all I do to plan our vacations which is nice. The only thing the kids asked for was CM dinner but when I pointed out that we are paying OOP for TS this time and suggested the Tusker House breakfast (cheaper) with Donald, Mickey and the gang they were all in for that. Luckily we have enough DVisa Rewards to cover the 2 TS meals.

I go through the menus for the counter service places and compile a list that I know has something for everyone.

Also if you sign up with touring plans for like $12 per year. They have a place to put in parameters for restaurants and when you want for how many people. They constantly check and if one comes up they text you. I got BOG lunch that I hadn't been able to. Date range. Time or meal type (breakfast, lunch or dinner) and how many people. the 6 yr old in our family will be eating chicken nuggets at every meal; that's all she eats most of the time. not sure what we will do for her at the 2 BOG meals

I don't know how grateful mine are, but they do know I enjoy planning way more than they do.
