Fall 2012 Disney College Program Applicants

My interview is in 30 minutes! I have all my sticky notes in front of me with reminders to smile and little notes about why I want this.
I am so ready for this part to be over!!!

My interview is over!!
It went better than I expected lol. Rhonda was super sweet and made me feel so comfortable! She asked me about why Disney, how did my work experience relate to what I wanted to do, was I comfortable in different situations, etc etc.
It lasted 24 minutes :)
If you have any other questions, let me know!!

I heard that they are running behind :scared1: (about 2-3 days) on applications. Just wait it out. Some people have already been rejected, but no acceptances yet. Right now, no news is good news! :yay:

If you go on the facebook page. There's a link that talks about what you do after a phone interview and a lot of people commented saying that they have already recieved rejection emails. Like one to two days after their phone interviews. but no one has said anything about being accepted. I've even looked at vlogs and other forums. It seems everyone is waiting

I just took my web interview and passed as a strong candidate. I instantly started to cry and laugh at the same time. I'm just so excited and happy! Now all I have to do is set up my phone interview. Goodness knows, If I am already crying from happiness..I can only imagine how I'm going to bawl if I get in.
I'm so so so so happy!

*Update* My phone interview is scheduled for February 12th at 10:15 pm!!!

Lol, my two weeks will be on Feb. 17th. I am taking a trip to Disney on Feb. 19th. That will certainly set the tone for my vacation...

Is photopass that bad? I actually put it as one of my highest choices, because I tend to be pretty good with a camera, and it seemed like a way to have lots of guest interaction. Interesting...
I did Photopass in 2009 and loved it! You're in a different part of the park everyday and get so much guest interaction..you also get to work with a lot of the characters, which is fun! :)

Hey, I'm glad I found this site! It'll be nice to connect with people!

I'm Jen, I'll be 20 next month and I'm sophmore. I want to do this program so bad and I'm kinda freaking out because my phone interview is in just over an hour.

The reason I want to do this internship, aside from the love of all things Disney, is that I absolutely love acting and I absolutely love kids, and the hardest thing for me is to chose between them. Disney offers the perfect mesh of being able to act and being able to interact with kids and brighten their day.

If you haven't guessed already, my first choice for my role would be a character performer. My second choices would be character attendance, costumes, and bibbity bobbity boutique. My super extra back ups would be attractions and merchandising.

It's my life's dream to be able to be Belle or Ariel at one of the two parks. Though I'm signed up to do my internship in WDW, eventually I would prefer Disneyland since it's closer to my family and my boyfriends family.

We're the same person, I wanted ALL of those roles and I feel the exact same way! And I'm 20 :yay:

random and way ahead of myself, but does anyone know what types of breaks you get during shifts? I am wondering if you have set lunch/dinner breaks and if there is a kitchen or somewhere to eat food that you bring other than the restaurants.

Hey everyone, my name is Josh! I previously applied for Spring 2011 and got a letter saying that positions filled up. I just recently applied for the Disneyland Fall 2012 in hopes of receiving a chance at this wonderful experience!

I chose all of the available positions, but my top three for Disneyland are:
1. Attractions
2. Guest Research
3. Entertainment Costuming

I applied on Thursday, and got the WBI link an hour later, but took it on Friday. Scheduled my Phone Interview for Thursday February 10th and I am SO EXCITED!!!

If anyone has any tips please let me know... Have a Magical Day! :smickey:

Although, I have heard Photopass is very limited to CP. It's great that they added the position and I would do it in a hearbeat since I love working with the characters and kids!

Omg!!! I just had my phone interview and then I went on the Facebook page, people started getting their acceptance letters today!!!! hopefully mine comes soon and I won't have to wait the full two weeks!!!!

I just got my acceptance letter via email!!! I'm crying so hard right now! My bf is still waiting to hear if he got in or not. Our phone interviews were on Jan 24. Good luck to everyone who's still waiting to hear!:grouphug:
