Fairies of Pixie Hollow

I have 2 questions about the new fairies at Toontown. First, has anyone been in the last few weeks who can tell me if the lines are still unbearable long, or when they are the shortest? Second, is Vidia ever one of the fairies to meet? We got my DD2 the "Tinkerbell" DVD for Christmas because she was a huge Tinkerbell fan. Well, now she is constantly pretending to be Vidia, "Mommy, I'm Vidia, a fast-flying fairy!" She keeps asking me if we are going to meet her at WDW. I'd like to know what to tell her.

Vida is not a meetable character. The only way she would ever become one is if she gets a big rold in one of the upcoming movies and more people take a liking to her.

I was there on the 4th and 7th and the line was consistainly 1 hour. I checked at about 2:30 one day and 5 the other. It never went over an hour and was never less. The line moves PAINFULLY slow. 30 people could take 45minutes!!! It's horrible!!!

last week the line was pretty consistently 45 minutes and up. Unless you go to Toontown rope drop, I don't think it gets any better. PP is right. The line moves very, very slowly.

We saw Tink, Iridessa and Rosetta.

Tink is always there (with two people playing her, with switching shifts). The other four randomly switch out.

Tink is the reason you go to see the fairies, but when I went she was more standoffish than she was in the movie. She had a not so kind attitude like she did in Peter Pan, not the innocent cute personality she has in her movie.

We just got back....we checked 3 different times to see the fairies (never went and saw them) The 3 wait times were 75 min. (middle of afternoon), 45 minutes (right when it opened), and 60 min.! I wasn't going to wait that long!!

I know Vidia is snotty and I was kind of concerned that my daughter was identifying with her. But we talked about how Vidia is a "naughty fairy", which she agrees with. She is a very active little girl and I think a fast flying fairy appeals to her. I did explain that they usually have the "nice" characters out to meet people and hopefully she gets that. I think we will still be standing in line an hour to meet Tink.

Personally I love Vidia. When I met the fairies {I met all five in one day....lots of waiting in line but I HAD to meet Silvermist} they kept saying I must be a fast-flying Fairy since I looked like Vidia {I dress a bit on the goth emo side} so I agreed I was, but then Silvermist also claimed me as a water talent fairy, and Rosetta as a Garden talent fairy, and Fawn since I have so many pets said I was an animal talent as well, they had great fun discussing how jealous Vidia would be and said I was much nice. Tink even mentioned Terence must like me alot to give me so much Pixie dust.Fawn said she would visit me and my animals on the mainland. I have tons of pics if you care to see!


Edited to add I bought some Disney Fairy pens in the MK and one has Vidia on it!

My daughter became addicted through the books - well before the movie came out. Her fav is Rani.
She knows she won't be meeting her soon, but the way they merchandised Rani at the beginning with the fairies (she is on quite a few of the fabrics, and was in the first run of dolls at the disney stores), we keep hoping that she will be in later movies, and maybe someday at the parks. If she was forced to choose, she would rather meet the queen than all the other fairies.

I was pretty disappointed in this attraction. When we got to the meeting room, Iridessa and Tinkerbell were staging a fake fight with Iridessa pushing Tinkerbell once and then they had a verbal tug of war for about 30 seconds. My ds(2) was very reluctant to take his picture with Iridessa after seeing this and my dd(4) was just confused......

Anyway, this was not worth the wait, in my opinion.

We were just there Tuesday and it was an hour wait. The line moves ridiculously slowly; I'm not sure why. We saw Iridessa, Tink, and Fawn. Fawn was super sweet and very pretty!

Just saw the fairies today. MK was pretty quiet everywhere - Buzz and Monsters Inc were 10 minute waits around noon (!) . . . it was kind of nice! We went to see the fairies a little before 3 and the wait was 45 minutes then. I think that going during a parade couldn't have hurt - there was nobody behind us in line for the first 20 minutes or so. I noticed that closer to 4 the line was much longer. I'd say try to see them during a parade or fireworks for the best shot at a short line.

I have no idea why the line is sooooo painfully slow. The princess line moved about twice as fast, and there are the same number of fairies as princesses.

We saw Tink, Iridessa and Silvermist. They were pretty chatty which was nice since my 4 year old was acting a little reserved.

I took my DD6 to see the fairies today! We got in line at 10:00am and it took over an hour to get to them. I have no idea why it took so long for the line to move? We only spent a few minutes with them.

I took my daughter to see the fairies on Monday/MLK day. We got there right at 10 as they were opening the line and the wait time was 30 min. We then went to the princess line which was only 20 min.
