Face painting...?

I have read a lot of trip reports where children have gotten their faces painted.. its so cute!!!! does anyone know the average price for this? I think my son would love to do this.

Hi there my son and daughter had it done in down town disney and it cost $15 each. My son got a pirate and she got a crown (princess). They were really cute, expect it was a hot august day and by night time they came off. But they were worth it.

My kids got their faces painted in October. My son was a tiger for $15- awesome. We spent the day at AK and he got sooo much attention from CM's. DD got some swirley, glittery, butterfly/fairy/whatever thing - $12-that she loved and was very "her".

They were great and lasted all day- but it wasn't very hot. I normally wouldn't spend that much on face painting, but we had free painting done at MNSSHP the night before and I was a meany and didn't let them sleep with it on.

My DD4 has gotten her face painted just about every day of our last 3 trips. As PPs stated, prices range from $12-$15. Many of the options are the same from park to park, but you will see some that are in the "theme" of that park (e.g. animals in AK, princesses in MK)

One thing I just learned on our last trip is that they will do touch-ups for free all day. So if anything gets messed up due to eating, napping, sweating, etc, they'll fix it up for you at no cost.

OHH This would have been nice to have known, lol. I do now! My 2 kids had it done at then MGM and it was awesome! My son got the Darth Maul and he loved it soo much. We went to Epcot and he was watching a little girl about his age 4 or 5, play the computer and she turned around and started screaming, lol. It was soo real looking! After the 2 little ones laughed about it, I was worried at first! But the little girl though it was funny after she realized it was only a little boy!

Then he fell asleep and it got all nasty so we had to work REALLY hard to get the rest off since his whole face was red. AHH! LOL
