EYE2EYE shirts - Designs and Information

I just had to pop on here too and say how sorry I am for all the frustrations everyone is going through! :grouphug: I'll third Vic and second Lisa, you absolutely do not need a Wish shirt to be a member of the team. I joined Wish in May 2005, I have run 4 half marathons and one full marathon as a team member and not once did I wear a Wish shirt. I still knew them on the course and they still knew me. I just ordered a Wish shirt from Race Ready, so the half in January will be my first race wearing the Wish colors.

For the person who questioned about disputing a Pay Pal payment, you can absolutely do that. You can either dispute it through your bank or dispute it through Pay Pal. There is a link on Pay Pal's main page to report disputes, they take 15 days to investigate your claim and after 15 days you don't receive the product, they will refund your money. If you do receive the product while the claim is open, it can be closed at any time.

Good luck this weekend everyone, I'll be thinking about you and WISHing I were there with you!!! :cheer2:

Hey. According to DHL, my package is on the truck in my town right now. Unfortunately, they told me they must have someone at the home sign for it! And, I'm at work. I left a note on the door for them to leave at my front door, but was told by DHL that they won't leave a package if someone is now at home (even with the note)!!!! Was told that DHL is open til 6pm tonight, but driver's don't always get back before closing time, so my package may be stuck on the truck somewhere... I'm still hoping for the best (also hoping that my order is correct).

Don't be bummed. You don't have to have a WISH shirt to be a WISHer.

Have yourself a great time and a good race. Everyone is welcome.

:)

Thanks for this reminder Vic. I was just going to post the same thing.

So everyone knows, my first and only race in my illustrious endurance career was the ToT 6.5 K last year. Other than having to make frequent stops due to back issues, I had a great time. I had never met any WISHers prior to the event and I didn't get to WDW and the event until right before the original start time. I did not have a WISH shirt on (in fact, I was wearing a navy blue shirt at a night event), easily found other WISHers at the start based on their shirts and within minutes had met at least twenty WISHers who spoke with me, many expressed happiness (and surprise) that I had made it given my wacky travel schedule, they encouraged me during the event and many were still around after the finish and congratulated me.

The shirt is not what makes you part of the team, rather it is the people within the shirts that make the team. (Plus, WISH doesn't enforce any "uniform" rule to participate. Its not the NFL.)

I am sorry that unfulfilled promises seem to have been made by eye2eye and that it looks like orders were messed up. But please don't think that not having a certain shirt means you are not part of the team.

Another person popping in to offer :grouphug: :cheer2: and a :woohoo: for everyone.

The Eye2Eye thing sucks eggs right now, and I'm so sorry that some of you won't have the shirts you ordered in time for the Minnie. On the up side, this is going to be a great bonding experience for everyone down the road, and even provide a good laugh. I hope that's somewhat comforting during what I know is a stressful time.

And I can't say it better than everyone else--WISH is more than the shirt. You're all my WISHmates, and I'm cheering you on this weekend, even if it's from Pgh!

Oh, I know I'm a WISHer, with or without my shirt. I just really wanted my shirt. I went online and DHL attempted delivery at 12:10pm ET today. But, guess my 17 year old son slept through the door knocking. Even with my note on the door for DHL to leave the package, it's against their policy. Oh well. The shirt probably has someone else's name on it anyway. LOL. I bought lime green shirts on my own the other day, but they're a little uncomfortable, so I'll probably wear one of my pink or orange comfortable shirts that I've been wearing all along in my training. I'll just look for the lime green shirts. We'll all have a great time!! :yay:

I called DHL to tell them the delivery was ATTEMPTED, but I wasn't home. I told them I really needed my package. Well, I just went online and my package was DELIVERED about 10 minutes ago! I'll be stopping by my house about 1:30pm ET to check out my shirts. Should we take bets as to whether or not they are actually my shirts or not??

I'll bite. I bet you a Ghirardelli's sundae that they are! You just deserve some luck on this one. And if the order is wrong, at least you know you'll have a sundae coming to you when I see you (in January?).

WooooooHoooooo!! :cheer2: My shirts came today and they even say MY name on them!!!! I ordered two different styles. I would say they run a little small (ladies). I am usually a size XL, but they didn't have XL in ladies, so I ordered 1X. For those of you who don't know, 1X is a little larger than XL. I would say my 1X shirts are like a ladies XL. I am sooooo happy (and lucky)!!! Well, gotta go now. I hope others get their shirts today!

DKP--does that mean Debbie owes you a sundae? I was trying to think of something good to bet, but was too late to the party.

Guess I owe you a sundae Debra!! I just recently found about all these Disney races. By the time I tried to sign up for the 1/2 marathon in January, it was full. There's no way I can attempt a full marathon. The Minnie 15K will be my first race. Although, if I finish the race Sunday, I may sign up for the ToT in October. We'll see. Not sure if I can trust my 17 year old son to stay home alone. I've already overheard him trying to get together a party while I'm gone. Just what I need. Don't really want to be on the news when I get home (you know, Mom gets arrested because her teenage son had a party while she was out of town for one night). I'm driving up tomorrow morning and driving back Sunday afternoon. See everyone there!

I see you've figured out my strategy, Bill--to try and get as many people "owing" me a sundae as possible. The bet was a calculated risk that seem to have paid off! ;)

By this time you're partying away at Minnie, and meeting all your fellow WISHers. I'm willing to bet you another sundae that you're going to be jazzed enough to sign up for ToT after this weekend, teen or no teen! :woohoo: (I think you should bring DS along to ToT--because there will be a party there for him to attend!)

SuperDebbie, I believe there are still slots for the half available through Anthony Travel if you really want to go. I would check it out. Another place is a charity like TNT.

Hey all, just got back from the Minnie and guess what....my shirt was delivered on Friday afternoon, aftger I already left to go to Orlando. They look nice and have my name on them, I will try them on later.
I had a great time and enjoyed meeting everyone!!

Just wanted to tell you guys that I wore my new eye2eye shirt today. I got a TON of responses from other walkers/joggers! Everyone loved the shirt. The words on the back of the shirt are big and pretty much take up the whole backside. So, it's easy for others to read. I hope everyone gets their shirt orders straight!

Thanks for posting the size info! I'm a medium unisex and a xl woman's running top, so your info has helped:goodvibes
If you get a chance could you post the width and length of the 1x?
:worship: thanks!

Here is my Large Ladies with reg neck and short sleeves. Front and Back,

And here is what it looks like on (don't think I am a great model....)
wishshirtfront-1.jpg
wishshirtback-1.jpg

Shirt measurements: At the top of the sholder line just before the sleeves it is 16.5 inches across. At the spot just under the sleeves (underarm) is 20.5 inches. The bottom hem line is 22inches across. The length of the shirt if 28inches.

I do have some suggestions for maybe some little fixes.
Back side:
As you can see I think the back is too long - the printed part. Some people have more in the trunk area and the shirt folds in that area so it is hard to read it. Also is you use a fanny pack or something the shirt will fold there. I also think the lettering is too wide from side to side. I think the WISH part is too large. Just some thoughts on that.

Front Side: I think the lettering is also too BIG or WIDE. It takes up alot of space. I think I could do without the characters, eehh? When using a fanny pack, fuel belt or my spibelt I have the clips for my bib and it would then block my name and the characters.

Just some thoughts, especially seeing the other WISH shirts. Maybe just a shrinking of some of the lettering would work, like if the lettering was at 100% on the shirt then make it like 80-70%, and then after shrinking the lettering, move it up a bit and leave the bottom blank except for the castle and stuff. Just some thoughts on that.

Thanks for posting that Tracy. Not sure I would want that WISH across my bottom. Not exactly my smallest feature. :rotfl2:

It is a cool looking shirt though. :thumbsup2

Thanks Tracy ( dsnyfan21 ) for posting the info.
Did you get the Loose or tight fit (Performance)?
I'm thinking it's going to be too long:confused3
I agree with shrinking the lettering:thumbsup2

Just a note, I have been emailing them to see how eye2 eye might want to resolve the incorrect order sent to us, they have yet to respond. Will advise with any results.

Anyone else have any luck contacting them???

Here is what I ordered according to the WISH order form we got from eye2eye.
Ladies shirt, t-shirt style, Comfort Fit, Crew Neck, Shot sleeves, size large. I can wear a women's Large most of the time, but sometimes a medium. I wear a unisex medium or a man's medium.
Yeah, maybe we could find the person who did the graphics and have them change it a bit, kinda like the one I saw at the Minnie. I am not too sure of having WISH real big going across my butt enhances it or slims it??
I think the lettering or words go too far down the shirt.
