Extra magic Hours

I'm sure that many people have asked the same question but I still am unclear about the extra magic hours. We are staying on site at the All-Star Movies. If it says that the park will close at 6 on the operational calendar and that park has extra magic hours, does that mean it is open after 6 for two or three hours? Or is 6 pm the Magic hours closing time?

To answer your question, it means the park will stay open to resort guests an ADDITIONAL 3 hours, i.e. 9 pm in your example. You have to get a wristband to ride the attractions.

If closing is at 6pm- that is for the general public. Then the EMH would begin at that time.

If you are an onsite guest, could you show up at this park at like 7 pm? Or do you have to get the wristbands before it closes to other guests? Just wondering if DH or myself stays at the resort with the baby, if the other one of us could go back into the park with other kids after baby in bed. ( This would be assuming that we'd all been in one of the parks earlier in the day and had the park hoppers)

I believe you need to get the wristband before the park closes, and they don't begin giving them out until an hour or two before closing, I believe.

You don't need one, just show your resort Id when u enter the park if your tix are not attached to it.

If offical park closing is 6PM the Magic hours will be 6-9 PM You will need to get a wrist band to ride the rides. They start giving these out about 2 hours before park closing inside the park. This is for Evening hours. For Morning Extra Magic you only need to show resort ID plus a ticket if not attached to resort ID there is no wrist band for the morning hours.
