Extending tickets? Is this possible?

Hi All,
We're going to be at the Swan/Dolphin for 3 days for conference. After that, we're heading to the Coronado for a 4 night stay.

We are booking through AAA, they are telling us that they can only give us discount tickets for the length of the stay that we book through them (4 nights).

However, we'd like to extend our tickets out to 7 days to cover the time we're at the conference (so the family can go to the parks).

Can we buy the 4 day tickets as part of our AAA package and then simply go to a ticket counter and add another 3 days? Or is there a different strategy? I'm thinking it would be ridiculously expensive to buy separate 3 day tickets.

If they are regular tickets then yes, you can extend (upgrade_ them, preferably after using them at least once so as to lock in their value at the gate price.

If they are conference/convention tickets then no, you cannot extend them.

Your problem is that your tickets are tied to your Corando Spring Reservations and therefore you won't get them until you check in. You could extend them to the conference if you were going to get them first. I just don't know that you can get them before you check in.

If you do not have a package with Dining, change your CST reservation to room-only.

And also check the Convention web site to see if they have a link to the special discounted convention tickets; you should be able to get them for seven days.
