Extending CP

My DS has opted to extend his CP. All of his roomies are moving out on Friday but as I understand it he also has to move but has until Saturday. His new apartment is in another complex and he doesn't have a car. Do they have carts or anything to help them move?
Also he can stay in his present place until he has to move the next day(Sat.) right? He won't have to move the day they are all moving(he has to work that day anyway) and go somewhere overnight? He isn't very clear when explaining these things to his anxious mother!

My daughter is also extending and moving from one housing complex to another on Saturday as well. I think all the current participates that have opted to extend move out on the same day and they have from 9-12 noon to make the move.

I would suggest that your son seek the help of friends that might have a vehicle that morning to see if they can help him out. Does he know any of his new roommates? One of them may have a car and could possibly help in exchange for a free lunch or something.

He is able to stay at his current place until Saturday morning but then must be out by noon.

I have no idea if they provide any sort of transport from one complex to another, he may have to check with housing on that.

Iris, thanks for the response! He does have a friend that works in the same area that he does that has a car and she said they can help each other so it will all be fine I am sure. Is it just the boys who wait for the last minute to find out all these things?

In his defense, he may have just recently found out where his new apartment is. I know that when I extended my program at the end of the summer 2009 that I didn't found out where my new apartment was until about a week before that I had to be out of where I was.

He will more than likely have to pile all of his stuff on one of the beds as his apartment might not be clean at the time that he moves into it. My apartment wasn't but the cleaning crew did eventually come. Granted it was about three hours after the time that housing said to expect them. But, if is isn't clean at the time he moves in, housing will give him some signs to put on his stuff, so that the cleaning crew doesn't throw any of his stuff out.

Thanks I will warn him that it might not be cleaned yet.
