I think bounceback can be a great option if you are looking for a cheap cash stay inbetween DVC stays, and are fine being at a value like AoA (we saw 5-nights in an AoA family suite for $2,200). But anything beyond that, you can likely just buy a rental from someone for the same price.
The year we bought in, we stayed at the Poly and it was $290 per night! If it had gone up with UK inflation, it would now be $420. I just checked and it's $750. That's some bounce back saving we got by buying DVC
The family suites have always been "Value+" not to mention the Skyliner making Pop and AoA more desirable in that category. The All Stars can be as low at $99 per night this summer with the Disney+ deal.
Nope and you probably won’t …after your next trip look under ‘Special Offers’ for accommodations and you will see it … it’s not called ‘Bounce Back’ it has another name ‘Save on Your Next Stay’ or something like that. It will be listed among all the other special offers for 7 days … we just booked a few nights at AKV for Nov and the rate was better than the DVC cash discount,
Right now, they are doing a special bounce back for deluxe guests for future DCL trip.
But, there seems to be different answers for those who did a points stay with DVC. I am calling DCL tomorrow since I just checked out today so if am eligible, I have 7 days.
For bouncback for a future WDW stay, all are eligible and it will be in your account under special offers, or you just call Disney to check. They will just take the reservation number and that shows them your eligibility.
