How much does it really help? Should we stick with this or get Express plus? WE have 1 day for each park, but I don't wanna be there all day. I'd like to start early and be "home" by evening. WE have them scheduled for Thrusday and Friday October 20&21. TIA

The Express Pass helps a little bit, just make sure to make it worth it...get it for one of the big rides like Mummy. You might be able to get 2 or 3 passes, probably 2. I would say that you will be fine without the Express Plus Passes. Crowds are hard to figure, but I think it would be a waste of money for what you get out of it. The parks will close early anyway because of Halloween Horror Nights. October shouldn't be too busy - the HHN will be busier probably than the days - I haven't been to HHN in 3 years because it is just too busy. You should have a great time - the crowds should be ok and the weather will be great!

The Express Passes will help if the parks are busy but you will need to get there early if you want to take advantage of the service for the bigger rides. I would not recommend buying the EP Plus since it's around $35/per person per park in the summer. October isn't really busy except on the HHN nights and if you go to HHN, definately buy the EP Plus for the evening. Since you are going to be here for a Thursday and Friday, try to get as much done on Thursday as you can. You'll start seeing more people waiting later in the day for HHN since it's going on both of those nights. But generally speaking, the crowds during the day shouldn't be too bad.

I think using the free express pass you will be fine. Like Metro West said it should be a smaller crown during the day but will start to pick up for guests wanting to take advantage of the Stay and Scream. They have to be inthe park before it closes at 5pm.

I agree. With one day for each park and the fact that you are going at a slow time, I think the free express passes will work fine. You can always purchase the express plus after you are in the parks, if you find you need it. Or wait until the second day and evaluate how your first day went, to see if you need them.
