If they are using the "tour line" for the Express line...then I don't think you will miss very much of anything by using Express. If Express is another line entirely, I don't know what would be missed since I haven't done it yet. If you miss the Greenhouse in Forbidden Journey, it is not the best themed part of the queue and missable IMHO.

i read on facebook that the ep line does miss out on a few from the beginning of the line once inside the building.

but it was on opening day for it and maybe it has changed now and nothing is missed.....

Holy Cow...for us to get express pass for the day we are going to see HP part only....it's $700 extra! That's insane...guess we'll be waiting in lines that day!

You could easily book one of the 3 deluxe hotels for less than half that price and get the unlimited ep covering both parks for two days for your entire family
