Okay boys and girls, here's my report. When asked what my favorite thing about my trip was, I answer 'The express bus!!!'. Really. What a great service.
For instance....on my last day there, I met up with my CM dd at DHS to spend some time together. She drove there, I took the bus. Okay. When it was time to head to MK (our last Wishes viewing), we had just gotten off RnRC, so I was in prime position for the express bus (it's right beside the lines for RnRC). Dd had to head to the parking lot. Long story short.....I was able to just about walk onto a MK bus when I got to the stop (I watched the times so I didn't have to wait long), then drove to MK, hopped off by Buzz, and sat down over by SpMt to wait for the rest of my group. Took me about 15 mins total. My dd arrived about 20 mins after I sat down.
Yes, you do have to know the timing schedule. But once you figure that out, you can adjust your touring plans. I loved this system....will use it on every single trip going forward!! And the buses were never close to full...maybe 15 on the most crowded bus!!!

15 is a huge uptick in numbers from our January trip. Good to know the numbers are increasing. I sure want it to be successful. It may just be the best thing since sliced bread (maybe even better ;) )

Sounds like a win-win! Do you happen to know if this can be added to passes in advance or only once there? Thanks for sharing!

There were times the two of us were the only ones on the bus...once it was just me. Most times there were more, but not a lot!!!

You have to do it when you get there! Once you buy it, you have a week from the date of purchase...so adding it prior wouldn't be a great idea! But, you can do it at the Express stops (I believe), or at Guest Relations in each park. That's what I did..just bought it at DHS the day I was ready to start using it.

And you can purchase at your Resort

I agree, one of the best things I have experienced! I was there mid-March and only had at most 2 other groups on my bus, loved it when I got the bus to myself! I'll also agree with the OP, knowing the schedule really helps, and allows you not to waste time. Show up about 5 minutes before the bus leaves, and you'll be walked out to the bus, and you're on your way!

I just want to add, when adding at a park (this is what I did), you need a credit card. You cannot put the charge on your magicband.

And to make sure I got this right, When you buy, that's when the clock starts ticking? So 7 days starting day of purchase? We are going down and need to get our APs, but probably won't go into the parks until the next day. I wish they would have it like tickets.....within 14 of first use.

We used it in December and it was awesome. I did not know you could purchase it at the resort. We will be at BWI in May and intend to get it again. Thanks for this information. Just ask at the reception desk?

Thanks again! @AngiTN

Yes, we did it upon arrival at POFQ in January. It nice because it means you aren't tied to taking a credit card to the park if it's not something you usually do.

Yes, this is correct, the 7 day window opens the day you purchase it. It does take some planning gymnastics if you are there longer than 7 days
