ExpoTV Users Stop In....

Hi all

I'm relatively new around here, and defiantly new to expo tv, feel free to look up my vids...i have 5 up at this moment, and about 35 pending approval and trying to get my 100 subs in by month's end...which i should be able to do

Jsut wondering if this is normal? It takes me about 10-12 min from the time I hit the UPLOAD button for it to upload. I have tried a different time of day and it still took about 8-10 min per upload. It's killing me. I could easily sumit 100 videos but the uploading is really troublesome....by the way I uploaded videos 7/25, 26, and 27. So, I now have 16 videos pending and I wait!

How big are your videos? I use Windows Movie Maker to downsize mine so that they are only like 7mb. That still takes about 5 min. It also depends on your internet connection - basically your upload speed. It might be clogged too since it's the end of the month. I'm not that tenured with this, but I'd say it seems normallish

Ah, you're having the same problem as me. My upload time is about 20-30 mins for one video. The reviews are about a minute long, but my problem is due to Kodak easy share. Sharing is not easy with Kodak, lol. Or maybe it is a Windows Movie Maker (WMM)problem. WMM will not accept my Kodak videos, so I upload to expo directly from Kodak easy share /my computer (thanks to a fellow DISer that told me I could do this).

The upload time has been a real pain. I wish I knew what format I needed to change my vids to, to make them smaller to upload. One of the videos was rejected due to size and it was only 1 min 35 seconds long. I'm very new to computer/video uploading. Still having fun though.

Does it matter is the video doesn't sync exactly with the audio? I have tried evrything I know (which isn't much) and it seens like the audio is a couple of seconds ahead of the video. I just joined today so I am VERY new at making videos!

I had one video like that and they approved it. Check out ******* review. It was out of sync when I sent it in, so I don't know if it fixed itself during the transition process or if it is still out of sync and they just didn't care. I should go watch it myself come to think of it!

It was out of sync when I sent it in, so I don't know if it fixed itself during the transition process or if it is still out of sync and they just didn't care. I should go watch it myself come to think of it!

Yes, the audio is much better than mine!! I just watched the country time lemonade one, I have the same problem with artificial sweetners!!!

I finally posted a video that did not say "video error" but the preview looks AWFUL. Has that happened to anyone else?

(I should have been cleaning house today instead of playing on ExpoTV. )

I'm not sure I really want anyone to watch mine. They're my first attempts and they're really not good. I don't know if they're good enough to be approved or not, since they're all still pending, just uploaded today.

I'll try to do better on the next batch. Hopefully I won't be so nervous and I'll learn from the mistakes I made this time around.

Hi and welcome to this group of expo pioneers. Please don't feel bad about your first attempts. We will all laugh at our first creations when we become real good at it. It's not easy becoming a producer and film star over night.

btw, I LOVE your avatar at expo. Is that the little goth girl from Hallmark cards?

Thank you! My avatar there is my WeeMee from WeeWorld. She's supposed to look like me, but really she doesn't, LOL. She has my 'park hair' or the hair I do at Disney because it's so humid there that my curly hair turns to frizz, so I do pigtails. She's wearing black and purple because they're my favorite colors and I made her originally to match my MNSSHP ticker here... I should put her up as my avatar here too. She has a dragon because I really like dragons and have a tattoo of one on my back. I guess I sort of look more like her when I go out, which isn't very often any more. Usually I'm in 'Mom mode' now, LOL. I do wear sunglasses like hers, but not the antennaes.
