EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

Hello! Today is my ADR day, about how long will it take for my dining reservations that IPO made to appear in MDE?

I don't usually have IPO make mine, but I did have them do a few for me on our last trip in December. They never showed up in MDE until I put them in there myself manually.

Hello all. We checked in to
BC CL today :)

But..... we have a full balcony!!!! And a daybed. So I am really happy. We put our requests in thru IPO and did not use online check-in. They were the only things we asked for. We have 5 people so I was really worried. We booked so last minute we didn't get our bands until we got here. They were right at the desk. Nice!

Our room is standard but it is right overtop of the front entrance. I like people watching, hearing the fountains and seeing a good size piece of Spaceship Earth. There Is only one other full size balcony 3 rooms down, so it is very private. For a standard room it is top notch.

Sounds like a great room that we would like!! We normally book CL LV rooms, but have been so unlucky with not getting a daybed that I booked Standard room this time. We will be there in about 9 days.

I wish I had a picture or video of my youngest one year while staying at YC CL, he was about 8 or 10 years old. He went down to the lounge to get a cookie, he was always good at buttering up the castmembers so they would go get him a cold glass of milk to go with it in the afternoons. A natural salesman like his dad. One day he came back to the room with a whole TRAY of cookies and a carafe of milk!!!!! :scared::scared::scared::scared:I freaked out and just about lost it, I'm in the process of marching him back down to the lounge then he explains that Shakira fixed all that up for him and told him to take it back to his room. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1 I was embarrassed to death but she swore up and down it was all her idea. :lmao:She has always spoiled my boys and been so good to our family. She's by far the best CM on that floor.

That is too funny! I've found the CM's at Sugar Loaf to be very nice to my kids as well. Especially our last trip, I wish I could remember names, but there were a few that were just so kind! :)

Beautiful pics, thanks for sharing :flower3:. The king turret room looks amazing!!! That is one room option I'm going to have to keep in mind should DH and I ever go by ourselves :goodvibes.

Checking in on Monday to WL CL (one night)!!! I'm very excited because this is my 1st time staying CL at WL. I've stayed at the YC, Poly, CR, and GF (main building) CL's and now I can check another one off!

I'm sure you will love it as WL CL is amazing!! I've also stayed GF RPC and while that is my favorite, WL CL runs a very close second for me ;).

Hello all. We checked in to
BC CL today :)

We landed at 4:55 and arrived at BC at 6:45. Ugh! Not so quick :(

But.... Emily was waiting with her little iPad out front to greet us and wisked us away upstairs. She invited us to the last few minutes of appetizers which we did. My husband went out to check in and we ate a few things. The raspberry champagne arrival cocktail was so so so good. The kids tried the non-alcoholic one but neither like soda so thumbs down.

Emily and Nick were both great for check-in. They cleaned up and shut down the CL lounge quick at 7pm and sadly they close it at 10pm sharp too. I was hoping we could hang down there to watch tv/play cards while someone puts little one to bed. I loved that about Poly CL. But here - no dice.

I will try and update as much as I can but we have a pretty busy schedule. If anyone has any questions, let me know and I will try and answer them.

Glad check in went well and glad you got a great room with a full balcony and daybed :thumbsup2. Have a great time.

so here's a question I just thought of. when you check in (AKL) it is my understanding that concierge actually walks you to your room, is that correct? if so, do you tip them or is that a no no. I don't want to do it wrong......:scratchin

We haven't stayed CL at AKL, but usually CL guests are taken up to the CL floor for check in. A CL CM is the one who does the check in and isn't usually tipped (at least not that I'm aware of).

I'm a little bummed to hear that you can't go in to the lounge after hours. Does that mean you can't go in to the lounge early either? I am such an early riser so I like to be able to leave our room while DD4 and DH sleep in the mornings.

That's one thing I don't like about the clubs that lock up, there's no where to go to relax after food service times and at night since they close/lock the door to the lounge. I don't believe you will be able to enter the lounge prior to serving time in the morning as I don't think the door is unlocked until serving begins. Hopefully someone else will be able to verify that or correct me if I'm wrong.

If that is a standard room CL at BC, please tell us the room number! It sounds really nice! I didn't even know you could get a full balcony with a standard view plus you can see part of spaceship earth!!

All of the races start and end in Epcot. And while I think the Epcot area resorts are great for runners (at least for me) and great for 10K/5K spectators, I think the monorail resorts are great for half marathon and marathon spectators. When staying at Poly, I was able to see our kids/my husband running the half marathon at TTC, front of Poly, at Epcot near monorail station and at Epcot finish. Four spots for a half marathon! Yay!

Here's the breakdown - again, all start and finish in the Epcot parking lot:

5K: Goes through Epcot only, but includes World Showcase.
10: Goes through Epcot and Epcot resort area, includes World Showcase.
Half Marathon: Goes through MK and Epcot but Future World only.
Marathon: Goes through MK, speedway, AK, Wide World of Sports, DHS, through Epcot resort area and all of Epcot.
Thanks Pixarmom! My DD straightened me out as well on the routes :)

I agree completely. The last time we stayed at the YC we were not staying CL (they were sold out) and she spotted us in the lobby one afternoon and practically ran over to say Hi! When the CL CMs recognize you away from the 5th floor, you have obviously spent way too many nights staying CL !! :rolleyes1

I LOVE that people on the CL remember us! It makes it more of a home away from home. People will comment about how big my kids are getting and such. Plus, those people tend to make the trip even more magical... Like taking a tray of desserts to our room when our ADR doesn't get us back in time.... Kinda like the cookies and milk thing... I LOVE that!!

Just to confirm. We were up at 5:30am this AM for 7am EMH and the lounge was all locked up. They said they serve coffee at the check-in area starting at 6:30am and they open doors at 7:00am. We walked out a little before 6am and it indeed was still locked.

We did take 4 bananas last night for some early morning energy.

Well... I am back!! I am torn between WL and BC for May 1st. How did the room renovations at BC turn out.
I love the WL and the lobby.. But I think the BC will be nicer for my mom.. Plus SAB for swimming

That's the problem! Other rooms are a disappointment after staying in a deluxe room. Honestly, the price difference between a regular room and a deluxe room is not very much, and it's well worth the money! The bigger issue is getting a deluxe room. There aren't very many. We have learned to book a long time in advance and then have any discounts that may become available applied later. Have you ever seen the deluxe king turret room? It's absolutely amazing. The room is round, with windows all the way around. It also has a walk-in closet. That room won't fit your kids, however. My husband and I like to stay in that room once a year without the kids... It's a whole different trip. I have pictures of the deluxe room with two queens and the deluxe king turret room, but they're just on my phone. I'll have to figure out how to post them on here.

Are all the main building deluxe king rooms in GF in the turret? Or do you have to request that?

I should not be planning this far out over our trip in November because I can't seem to make up my mind! I was going to book YC but it's sold out the dates we are going. So then I was torn between 4 or 5 hotels and now I'm leaning towards BC CL water view. But then part of me thinks we should splurge and do the GF CL. Assuming they offer a Fall discount and it's similar to the Spring discount, GF is 30% off room only and BC is 20%. It would make the cost difference between a BC CL water view and the GF deluxe king $864 for the 6 nights we are there. So a little chunk of change for sure but not crazy ridiculous difference?!? I guess we have to decide what kind of "vibe" we want this trip!!! Wish me luck!

I will agree with Dispro, in the last few years they are very hard to book. So booking ahead is a must. Also, here is the info about the king RPC rooms they are all not like the turret room and are by request only. The occupancy has changed to 3 since the refurb added daybeds or pull outs to these. We have had 4330 and 4430, I did not like 4330 because it had smaller half windows in some unlike the other room if I remember correctly.

#1A. King Deluxe room: there are 9 rooms located on the 2nd floor of the main building. They all come with king beds, whirlpool tubs, a small sitting area and a balcony that overlooks the castle. They are all the same size as a standard room. (room #4201-4209) (maximum occupancy is 2)

#1B. King Deluxe room: there are 6 rooms located on either end of floors 3, 4 and 5 of the main building. They all come with king beds, regular tubs, larger sitting area and turret style windows that offer a panoramic view of the resort. None of these rooms have a balcony, but they are much larger. (room #4321, 4421, 4021 & I think #4330, 4430, 4030) (maximum occupancy is 2) Here is the room layout for the King deluxe options:

Let us know how it is. We are going soon and will be our first time at the WL CL. We have stayed BWI, YC, BC, Poly and GL SL. Have fun!

Is there a link to the new photos of the BC lounge
Here are some pictures that we took in February. It's shape is odd. Almost like a "Z" and more. There are two doors to enter and a third door which is just an exit near the bathroom in the back. Two TVs for adults and 1 for kids.

There is a door here to enter and that is the CM walking into the main room with the food.
