NOTE: these offers are now expired. New incentives will likely be made available shortly.

There's bits of information in 4 different threads so I thought it would be helpful to consolidate everything to one post that I can update as we fill in the gaps. Please post below what you find out!

Here is a link to the same information in a tabular format that @i<3riviera did, for those who find that easier to read

I would snap up 300 Riviera points right now if it was not for those dang resale restrictions. Maybe CCV is worth looking at. Its just a resort that has never been on my radar.

WHAT! CCV is 220/Point? Yowser. I thought they were all 188.
Nope! They raised CCV to 220 in November, and RIV and AUL to $195 around February. BRV is still $186, but it expires in 2042 and isn't offering incentives.

Honestly for me, I'd be more willing to accept the resale restriction if the dues weren't starting off so high. 50 years remaining and it's STARTING at $8.31? Ouch.

Does owning any amount of DVC points qualify you for existing member pricing?

How many points do you have to add on direct to get a blue card if you’re already a DVC member?

If your resale points do not qualify for blue card perks, you will need to have 100 points direct from DVC to get a blue membership card.
Thanks for the info! I thought it was less if you were already a DVC member. Really wish I got in before all the resale changes!!

Are there different levels that come w more points?
If you buy in a manner that qualifies you for a blue card, currently 100 points purchased directly from Disney, then you get a variety of benefits. They currently include the ability to buy a Gold pass even if you aren’t a Florida resident, substantial discounts on APs at WDW, $20 off the more expensive DLR APs, use of the lounge in the Imagination Pavilion at Epcot, ability to book special DVC events like cruises and moonlight magic, and some transfer options for your points that don’t really make much financial sense but hey to each their own. These benefits may change at any time.

Members who do not qualify for these perks get exactly the same room options and priority as the members who do, they just don’t get the add on perks. The 2 perks they do get are the Top of the World lounge at the Contemporary and the ability to transfer points to RCI.

I thought Copper Creek expired in 2068. These say 2057, which is crazy since they're screenshots from DVC's own site!
wow, how did that happen? you’re right though, should read 2068

maybe they’re giving a discount by reducing years :D (just kidding, that’s not possible without some serious timeshare changes)
