Experience with NOT getting off the Waitlist?

We are headed to VWL (our home) in less than 2 weeks now for a week.
We have been waitlisted for VB since 9am on the first day of the 7 month window but still have not gotten in.

I've seen several posts on success stories about the wait list coming through. What has been people's experience on it not coming through?

I figure we can wait it out until a few days before but then we'd like to know where we're going for sure.
Either way, I know we'll have a great time!

We are leaving for home in 12 days and still on the waitlist for a two bedroom at BW. Thank goodness we were able to get a stuiod & a one bedroom but it isn't what we need or want. Entered the waitlist about three and a half months ago but still keeping our fingers crossed.

Just double-checking that you notified MS at the 30 day mark that you wanted to stay on the wait list. Also, you should call and let them know if you want to stay on right up until you leave and/or while you are at WDW.

I was never able to get December 31 at BWV one year. I got the other days during Christmas Week but could not get that one day. I had my brother's family stay at CSR for that night.

We are also leaving in 12 days - have a 1BR @ OKW, but we're on the waitlist for a studio at BW or VWL instead ... at least we have someplace to go! I think I'll call again in a day or so.

Yes I called actually before the thirty days and they made a notation on my reservation and then I checked back again.These people must be so sick of hearing my v
